  1. I second the tegaderm/saniderm option. I've had my full back lined and shaded in 2 consecutive days, after first day slept with cling wrap, second day i kept cling wrap on for 4 hours, showered, air dried and got tegaderm on entire back. Kept it on for 6 days and it was basically healed. Verstuurd vanaf mijn ONEPLUS A3003 met Tapatalk

  2. ya I just have one full sleeve and it was not an issue sleeping with the pressure on the fresh tattoo. But I know back pieces are quite challenging in terms of pain. With my neck issues I don't wanna be stuck thinking well now what .........can't sleep on my front or back.....etc. unfortunatrly I live alone and my dog had no thumbs or knowledge of hygiene *rim shot* but I could probably get some help from a friend.....I will keep that product in mind. ya for my sleeve I just slept with a fresh bandage and a long sleeve shirt which was glued on the following morning ?

  3. I would still try and use a product like Saniderm, have someone apply it for you and you can forget about any issues with healing, really this stuff is great.that way you can sleep on your back, ya,IMO it's going to be minor irritation to lay on it,but it will be safe for your tattoo and bed sheets to sleep on it. IMO the irritation of laying on a tattoo is different for all of us just like anything else,

  4. Ongoing piece. When it's done it will start at my ankle and connect to my chest piece. It's a tiger and samurai on my leg and dragon on my ribs/stomach. Just outline and shading so far on the dragon. We decided to work our way up.

  5. Thanks. Yes, the same artist. I really like his work and just haven't had the urge to go elsewhere.

  6. @Gingerninja - solid advice there. Lynn and I follow the same guidelines. Sometimes, your priorities and likes don't match up. Knowing not to push is crucial to a strong and stable relationship.

  7. No at all but try to make sure her energy is good! Don't put any pressure on her and don't get in a fight about it. Give her a true, loving option to opt out. Like no harm, no foul, it's-all-good-option. If she doesn't take the out, then she needs to be love and good energy to your appointment. @sipes23 I do this all the time with my hubby when there's something that I want to do (and love) doesn't match up with his headspace. Be kind, compassionate and honest about what you'd like to share with her. If it's a good match, great. If not, accept it graciously and move on. My two cents.

Sleep and a fresh back piece ?

you could use a dermal product like www.saniderm.com and sleep on your back (if it doesn't irritate you to lay on it), and you can shower, wear any clothing, etc, etc, take off the Saniderm or similar product in 5 days and it's pretty much healed. this is a good deal ,I always get this one http://saniderm.com/product/personal-size-10-2-in-x-2-yd-roll/ how big is the tattoo going to be ?

"A picture is worth a thousand words" For your consideration - a classic "Mom" heart and banner, a classic horseshoe w/ a "Dad" banner. One on each side of the body. upper arms or wrists (not upsidedown!).

    Fitness!

I started a light work-out regimen when I got serious about losing weight last March. I'm doing push-ups, sit-ups, crunches and several stretching/toning exercises I learned in the Army - 26 years of morning PT taught me something at least! I walk around quite a bit at work and have lots of stairs in our building - always avoid the elevators, too. I'm up to 85 push-ups and 100 sit-ups, 40 crunches X 3 - front, left and right obliques and at least 30 reps of the other exercises. Then I finish out with light weights - 3 sets of 25 reps of 4 exercises where I focus on biceps, triceps, deltoids and pecs. I've dropped 35 pounds now and have toned up quite a bit - not bad for a 61 year old.

    Ass tattoos

Waves and rocks, my backpiece extends all the way down. Black in the crack, it creates a shadow effect, to make the tattoo fit naturally on the buttocks. Go as deep as you and the tattooer feel comfortable with. If you don't, you'll be wishing you did and you will hesitate returning to the painful memories. My ass tattooing session was a very valuable lesson in humility and vulnerability. Plus my black ass looks fantastic now. You should definately bring a wooden spoon or ask your tattooer for a piece of old leather to bite down on. Seriously.

    Ass tattoos

I have a large side torso piece that came down a little on one butt cheek, and all I can say is for me the butt is the most painful place I have ever gotten a tattoo.I like showing my tattoos, and I can show most of them with shorts and a tank top,but a ass tattoo would be the weirdest one to show off ! LOL

    Back Piece Care

From the guys that have back pieces on the ship they've told me to get some syrann wrap, put it on the door, put some lotion on the syrann wrap and then rub your back against the door

  26. That's what I did, Capt. And yes, I usually had to jump in the shower with my shirt on the next morning to get the shirt unstuck.

  27. Was wondering if you do sleep on your back would it be kosher to just wear a tshirt to sleep in. That way if it sticks at all, you just need to jump in the shower with the tshirt on? Or has that not been a problem for anyone that has had there back done?
