Got my first leg tattoo by Victor J Webster @ East River Tattoo in NYC yesterday. It's his interpretation of the Bakunawa, the Philippine mythical dragon which devours the moon and causes lunar eclipses.

Happy new year everyone! Time for another contest. RULES: The tattoo photos posted in this thread will be submitted for polling of Last Sparrow's Best DAGGER tattoo. This is all in good spirit and fun of course. The submission process opens on the 1st of the month and ends on the 20th of the month. After that there will be an open poll for one week, which will close on the 27th, and the tattoo with the most votes wins. Your tattoo picture must be posted in this thread (both tattooers and tattoo customers can win) in order to qualify. Include tattoo artist name & tattoo shop with your photo/post. You MUST be the one who has the tattoo or did the tattoo. It MUST be a finished tattoo It MUST fit the theme of the contest Each member may submit up to 3 tattoos for each contest. Names Michael and I'm from Australia, I only have one tattoo right now (upper right thigh). Just wanting to do some research before I get my next one, so figured I'd browse a few forums and ask around.

I'm thinking of getting my upper back done. I've wanted something that incorporates all my major gaming characters in one, so I was thinking of each of my characters from all the MMOs i've played in a battle against my favourite monster/boss. I'm not to sure how it would turn out as I was thinking the boss would draw most attention while all my characters were slightly silhouetted. That would be the basic layout idea, the boss up back towering over everyone with all my characters at the front silhouetted. Im more interested in a more realistic appearance (not 100% photo realistic, just not as cartoony as above) I've been googling for Queensland tattooers that I like but if anyone has someone that might be interested in this I'd love to check them out.

Change your attitude. Meditate or whatever you do first to get your mindset different. If you go in thinking extreme pain, you'll feel it. Relax as much as you can. Clenching, balling up, and curling your toes are bad. Concentrate on letting go - I relax my feet very intentionally with my breathing.

I got this at the beginning of September . I did post it,but only in the images section.

This was done last night by Gina at Studio 69 tattoo... on my ribs. Came close to tapping out. The mark on the upper left is a drain from my heart surgery.

my opinion is I wouldn't give a F*** what anyone else thought about it if it's what I want. " cultural appropriation ", it seems to me with all the political correctness gone wrong,everything people do offends somebody ! If I like a tattoo,I either like the art or it means something to me personally,I don't get it to offend anyone,I have several tattoos that are from other cultures,so what ? I think people need to lighten up a little.nobody owns a style or art form.

Making unsolicited negative comments about someone's tattoo shows a total lack of class.

I got this from my childhood friend Siggy (@siggystarfishtattoo) today. I saw the flash year and a half ago but having been on the opposite side of the world it didn't happen until now. So stoked!

This was done last night at Studio 69 Tattoo in Ronkonkoma NY by Gina... on my foot. 2 hours and it really didn't hurt.
