This was taken at a local Chamber of Commerce awards gala last week. I'm Chairman of the Board - 6 months left of my two year stint.

New addition to my "bird collection". Done by Pavla (Poppy Tattoo) during her guest spot in Prague. The photo is hers. Concerning the watercolor tattoos and their ability to hold, I can now compare the 2 year old tattoo with this new one because they are placed right next to each other. The older one still looks great and vivid. But I have very pale skin, and I almost never sunbathe.

Back in August, when I wrecked my motorcycle, I was headed to the board meeting of a group from various independent Christian churches in our area. Our main focus has been the planting of new congregations in and around our area. In the 30 or so years that I've been on the board, we have partnered in over 10 successful plants. This week I attended my last board meeting, vacating a spot to be filled with someone younger with new ideas. It's been a wild ride, and a lot of fun! I've made friends with men from the area that I really look up to. For you younger guys, my advice is to not fear ministers, and go out of your way to make friends with them. Congratulations!!! Having worked in higher education for 12 years now and as a college president for 5 I can tell you, you are not alone. We get many students who come to us after spending time working, raising a family or who just decide to make a life change. I have found that those people, with few exceptions, fare much better than students who enter right after high school. They are more focused, more mature and more willing to expend the effort to understand the material - in short, the do better despite having misgivings and concerns. You'll do great!!

I have been admitted to university, so after 10 years of working full time I'm now working and studying. I'm happy, but also scared I can tell you :)

that's cool ! my wife and myself got tattooed at a convention together at two different conventions this year,we had back to back appointments by the same artist at each show,it was a really great time to spend together getting tattooed. My wife also recently had two large tattooes done by 2 different artists within two weeks of each other,I had 4 done this year ,it's been a busy year for us too ! it might sound sappy,but both shows we went to and got tattooed at was a real bonding fun time for us.

So, I've gone a little crazy lately. I already had an appointment in December with Chauncey "CK" Kochel. Then I made my appointment with Dave Wah in January for the Austin convention.......well, my wife and I decided we needed a vacation..... So, we both have appointments in February with Freddy Negrete at Shamrock in LA. After that, I swear I'll slow down.

I haven't posted anything in a long time but this is a tattoo I got in October by Scott Sylvia. I plan on booking another appointment with him on Thursday. I'll be sure to post pics. I think I attached the pictures correctly. Let me know if you see it! Thank you all for looking.

it was there... i saw it on Raking Light Projects IG post. i'm lucky no one picked it up at that time! he has some amazing art that's much different than his tattooing. @Dani forgot to check LST for this thread prior to the convention, so i missed this opportunity. perhaps next year! @Gingerninja easy to have good taste at the Bay Area Convention. great artists and amazing tattoos any way you turn. One last pic. Andrew from Raking Light Projects talked me into picking this one up from Thomas Hooper... I just had to convince the wifey. You can see it hanging at his booth in the prior set of pics.

Haha I think I just like all of the same stuff cause I have a ton of repeat tattoos. 8 roses, 7 snakes, 2 dragons, 6 skulls (5 on one arm), 4 birds, 5 ladies, and 4 moons.

You're right. I'm going to put "LaToya" in bold, all over my back. Been with her for 3 months now. I'm also going to put her kid's faces on my back too.
