Mr. Dave Cummings just sent me this sketch for my arm in Montreal. The 2 x's are my elbow and ditch. Beyond stoked.

Got my other armpit done a couple weeks ago. Last time I was a little sick and had an all day tattoo session the day before. This time as coincidence would have it, I got sick again (co-workers have it out for me I'm sure of it) but had no tattoo sessions prior. It still sucked but I did better this time around, I think. I didn't need to ask for a break this time around. Also, last time I mentioned the awkward body positioning had caused me problems, but I realized it was likely the artist hitting nerves or something. I was fine this time around until he hit a certain spot. Just like before, my arm developed a weird pain that shot from armpit down to my bottom 2 fingers. This may be worse than getting the base of your butt/thigh worked on. I'm definitely getting old though and getting my armpits done, for the first time ever, has got me second guessing future plans. I'm sure that'll pass and besides the tattoo is awesome and healed quick.

Went out to buy some new suits for work today - that in itself is not awesome...but I have now lost almost 30 pounds and when I found that I am able to wear a size smaller and a slim fit suit well......I'm feeling pretty awesome. I couldn't wear a slim fit when I was in College...and next year will be my 40th college reunion.

ya,I get that too,I don't have a remedy ,but it goes away ,

I just got the artwork for this one,and I am in love with it ! it's going to be full bold color.

I have used Saniderm for a long time now,and I do get the red marks from the edges too,fortunately they always go away eventually,but I have never gotten blisters, ! ouch !

It goes away eventually. I get mild irritation from the adhesive, too.

My artist was the first to tell me that putting a bunch of words is a waste of good real estate. If you feel like you have to have the words, I highly recommend you get an image to go with them and get some old school banners with the text. But as everyone says, go to an artist and tell them your ideas. Then let them run away with it.

So I have an appointment for an American traditional anchor on Sept. 13. Woo! I'm looking forward to it. :-)

Tell us what city you live in, then people will chime in with good shops or tattooers in your area. Next step is to go to one of those good tattooers and ask them. They are the artists. We are just people who like to get good tattoos.

No remedy but the same thing is happening to me. I was tattooed 2-3 weeks ago. It was a rough session so the artist used tegaderm I think. I usually dry heal so I'm not familiar with tegaderm or sanaderm and the differences between them but the same thing has happened. It peeled back a bit after a day and the adhesive seemed to leave a red line on my chest. Didn't think much of it till the line blistered and I had a thin puss filled streak on my chest. Puss popped and tattoo appears 90% healed but I still have the red line on my chest. Not sure if it will fade. edit: just read @Dan's post so that's good to hear it goes away.

Henning requested pics of my healed back with a black background. Believe it or not, it was tough finding large enough black material like a curtain or spool of cloth but luckily my local dry cleaner had something I could borrow. I've been gone for a while. I'm stoked to see so many great tattoos being done. Started my back with Horitomo in December.

started this end of '13 with rich hardy in krakow,poland. then i travelled to london, paris and london again to finish it few weeks ago. so relieved that i finally don't have to get through that pain again. although the shading during the last 3 sessions was so easy in comparison to the lines. anyways i can only repeat that rich is the nicest guy. everyone should get tattooed by him if he is around. merry christmas everyone!
