Beer, sex, tattoos and food... throw in music and basketball and I'm honestly not sure there is anything else worth thinking about anyway.3 points -
I think I have tattoo OCD, I have a lot of tattoos and have been getting tattooed for many years, and still it seems everyday ,all day, all I think about is tattoos, tattooed people, tattoo art, tattoo shops, and probably the worst is me thinking of what my next tattoo will be. do you guys think I have a problem ? does this happen to anyone else ? now don't get me wrong,I still think about beer & sex & food !3 points

Bumping my own thread. First of all, thank you everyone contrubiting in my thread. Special thanks to @Graeme who's advice never fails. Also special thanks to my mentor @Joe Shit (yes you are a mentor now, deal with it) with who i had alot of back and forth pm's about artists. Without you guy's i dont know with what monstrosity i would have ended up with. I know sometimes it seems people just come, asking for advice and dont listen but i want you to know sometimes people do listen. Allmost finished now.3 points

Yeah. I obsess about my next tattoos. I look at tattoos a lot. I read about tattoos. I talk about tattoos. (But I also think about food, movies, music, and sex a lot, too.) In other words, I don't think you're alone.2 points

@InkedMumma Ron Wells 2011/2012 Carolyn Le Bourgeois (@cltattooing) 2014, picture taken today Nick Colella 2011, picture taken today Some of my favorite tattoos, still. The knee ditch was hell, but other than that, I had really positive experiences for all three. Sorry about the photo quality on these, as all I have to take photos with is my iPhone 4.2 points -

I have multiple skulls, flowers, lady heads, eagles, snakes, predatory cats and eyeballs... oh and stabby implements... flames. Bugs/creepy crawlies too I guess. I guess you could say I'm not afraid of repetition. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk2 points -
Repeating Tattoos?

Just a bit of a random question here, I was wondering if any of you find yourselves getting more than one of any given design? Meaning do you find you have lots of skulls, or lots of animals, or daggers etc. I have just been perving on tattoos, and while the few that I do have are nothing alike ( 7 butterflies on hip, stars n kids initials on back, pipes on arm, heart and daggers on sternum) , I do see myself ending up with lots of skulls and animals. Feel free to share pictures too :)1 point -
Thought I'd posted these the other morning - probably forgot to hit the submit button. This is the time of the year that I love our place the most - affectionately referred to as Mighty Mortgage Manor. We spend a lot of time working on fences, the garden, Lynn's plot of fresh flowers, cutting grass...and even find some time to spend in our pool (we filled in an old one and built a new one last year). But, the mornings are so peaceful - sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee is so tranquil. Here's my view from the back porch, looking over our small lake. Sunrise from the front porch: The pool from the back porch (still growing some grass to cover where they dug up the yard for the water and electrical lines): The front of the house: And the back of the house: All four seasons are wonderful here in the Northeast, but I just thrive in the Spring and Summer months.1 point

Ooooh, I love the hot weather. Of course, we rarely get days above the low 90s here in the Northeast - but deal with humidity. When we built our home, we opted not to put air conditioning in it - just lots of windows and doors. We almost always have a breeze and even in the high humidity, sleeping under a ceiling fan is heaven. The only change now, after getting my tattoo, is that I have to watch my tanning so laying in the sun is now changed.1 point

HATE. It's humid and gross, and I also hate it.1 point

This quote is rife with great tattoo ideas: "I’ve wrestled with alligators, I’ve tussled with a whale. I done handcuffed lightning And throw thunder in jail. You know I’m bad. just last week, I murdered a rock, Injured a stone, Hospitalized a brick. I’m so mean, I make medicine sick"1 point

It's hard to recommend anything when no one really seems to know what you want. I would have suggested Tattoo Paradise, I've been there and it's a great shop with really talented people. Jinx Proof is similar, although I've never been there, they're on my bucket list. If you feel like traveling some, the Baltimore area has some good shops you could look into: Stay Humble and Have Fun Be Lucky are also on my go-to list. In Frederick, if you really wanted to travel, there's Classic Electric and Black Label. I'm prejudiced towards more traditional tattoos and that might not even be what you want, though.1 point -
I'm getting tattooed next weekend. If I post an infinity symbol with "Love, Laugh, Live" in it or some hokey inspirational shit like that in the Lowdown you'll know for sure.1 point

I'm far from heavily tattooed but I have a couple repeats already: 2 skulls - one traditional, one more neotraditional...and attached to a skeleton 2 roses - both traditional, one red, one pink I know I'm getting another skull at some point, and I'd like to get a tiger some day (then I'll have repeating big cats). I'm sure I'll end up with another rose or two. I have a butterfly and I'll probably get another at some point. I worry about putting similar things too close together (ie: I won't get a tiger next to my panther), but that's just me being particular. Otherwise, I like getting a couple different versions of the same things and seeing different artists' takes on similar subject matter.1 point -
If you only have one spot of cellulite on your butt you are one lucky lady! I have shedload and am planning on getting a big panther over it. So yeah, go for it, I'm sure it will definitely distract at the very least which is just as good as hiding it in my book...but get something because you love it and it's rad, not just because it serves the purpose of concealing.1 point

Yes, I have three other tattoos. One on my wrist and one on my upper chest. Then I have one on the side of my stomach down by my waist that I used to cover some stretch marks very effectively. Some of that tattoo goes up over my ribs. That one hurt the most. I really like the tattoos I have already. I'm always happy to get another tattoo so if I can cover something I don't like up then it's a great thing.1 point

But, on topic, I did the Elm Street Friday the 13th thing a few weeks ago and got a little flying eyeball on my shoulder above my TARDIS. I like it so now I'm going to go back every Friday the 13th until I have a little squadron of them flying around the TARDIS.1 point -

When I was recommended to try it, the explanation was that by covering it with the plastic wrap you are keeping the plasma in which promotes a faster heal and reduces the chance of developing thick scabs. It's the same principle as the -derm products, though without the breathability of them. I will admit to being skeptical of the method, especially as I first tried it during a nine hour drive home the day after a session that hit some tender spots like my ditch and elbow: the swelling and pooling of fluid looked awful, but I've had great success healing with rewrapping. I also like it because it reduces the friction between the healing tattoo and my work boots on lower leg tattoos, and it helps keep a fresh tattoo clean on other spots of my body, which is important because I work a dirty job where my tattoos can get exposed to all kinds of dust, dirt, and chemicals. Personally, I won't touch Aquaphor anymore after having had a couple of really shitty heals using it, but we all find the healing methods that work for ourselves.1 point

Finally finished this huge thigh piece a few days ago, loosely based on the cover for one of my favorite metal albums! Pictures taken a couple hours after when I was still ridiculously red and swollen. I'll be sure to post better pics once it's done peeling. Done by Sam Warren at Dreams Collide in Lancaster, PA.
