pretty excited to have booked appointments for my GF and myself to have quite a bit of chair time with Freddy Corbin. This dude is such a standup guy. He answers my email, calls, etc... within hours. I have messaged many of the harder to schedule artist and have never heard from them in 2 years. Living in Portland, I am hoping to make one trip from Portland to Oakland, then going to my hometown and having Tim Hendricks due a piece all in the same weekend. But for now, Freddy is a lock.

Hi Ash, Welcome aboard. I think you'll find that many of us have multiple versions of subjects. I have a few different roses, a couple of matching swallows, several stars, a few skulls, and probably more that I've forgotten. A friend of mine has a sleeve of different hawks. Some good advice: work on it with a good artist - placement is going to matter when you start getting multiples. Have fun - I wish I could go back and start again, not because I regret anything I've done, it's just that the process was so great.

I saw this piece by Mike Rubendall a few days ago and every time I see it it still floors me. I think the thing that catches me is the head of that snake. The purple is crazy...

Hello and welcome! I doubt most here would say much against getting multiple tattoos of one animal, especially in different styles. I have a Tigger, a Chinese tiger, and plan on a Flying Tigers logo next year. Mark Bee's advice is solid. Collect what you love!

Really the big things and the small things in this thread, that's what I like about it. Positivity vibes! Last week I visited a long time friend in her new home city for the first time, after she'd allready lived there for four years. That was nice in and of itself. She told me that she just learned to really believe in compliments that people give her, and for the first time got those warm feelings that an honest compliment can give. I could relate a whole lot and realized I too changed in this aspect over the past years. We talked about that and coincidently I got four really nice compliments by other people just around that week. By my friends kid: - Mommy is good! And you are good too! By my friends friend: - You're great at hanging out with kids By random girl getting off the train, where I was drawing in my notebook: - I just have to say: that looks really nice! By a person I am seeing: - You are really very fine in bed Each compliment of course boosted my all ready alarming illusions of grandeur to new hights in their own way ;)

I went to the elm street festival and had a great time. First time going to a tattoo convention of any kind. The experience was incredible. So many cool artists and tattoos going on. Everyone seemed busy as hell but I was able to get a lady head from paco cendon, so I'm stoked. It's already my favorite tattoo. He is a riot and a hell of an artist. I'll definitely be going to more conventions in the future.
