  2. My new pieces by Victor over last 2 days, he is bored shitless with faces, eyes etc so we tried some dotwrok and a little towards bio. He made the girl/demon face light to try and contrast Robert Hernandez's far too dark skull. He worked super fast, first day 5 hours, today 6 hours. :) We also had a funny convo about my back piece. He said when I had the Jesus done he had no clue I wanted my whole back done, nor did I. He said he would have done things a lot differntly had he known that, so we have now booked 2 more sessions as he wants to go rght over my back and change as much stuff as is possible to flow better and improve it, to me its fine lol Pics taken on my phone with my arse red raw lol Anyhow sorry for the arse shot again and I also covered the hanging penis nudity part :P

  4. Spent some fun time with the twin grandsons last weekend. They just turned 6. I finally have had time to really enjoy the new acoustic, a Taylor 522 12-fret mahogany. It is by far the nicest guitar I've ever owned or will ever own. It sounds angelic to my ears. :)

  5. Well I guess nothing embodies the "rebel spirit" more than getting a Confederate flag tattoo in 2015. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  8. Got a few more hours in on my custom dragon chest piece! So close to being finished but so stoked on how it's come together. London Reese is a pleasure to get tattooed by. Very easy going and cool to talk to. The shop is great, everyone there is a really friendly, cool, and talented as hell. After this last session, I now understand why some people say the chest sucks. 15hrs down so far, only a little bit more to go.

  13. It's just not responsible to perpetuate "alternatives to apprenticeship" (ie: scratching) at all - but especially on the internet, where literally anybody who can barely read can get "educated" on how to do damage to some other poor soul.

    Full Back Piece Thread

@Cork Thanks man! Im really happy with how its all coming together. You know, its funny, I read a lot of posts about it being bittersweet when a back piece is finishing up, but for me, I can't wait for it to be over. Don't get me wrong, I love the experience, the talks and hanging out at the shop, but lately my pain tolerance has been damn near zero. I feel like I've been sitting horribly. Its not like I'm tired, we were going every 6 weeks and they haven't been marathon sits, only like 4 hours or so. I can't explain it, it sucks right now getting tattooed. Haha. Hasn't stopped me from thinking about my next piece though...

    Looking for Tattoo Help!

Download the brag art list It's an app that you can find on your app store for iphone and android and you input your location and it pinpoints all well known famous and seriously talented artists near you. It wont just pinpoint any old shop. Only the best of the best get on that list and it links you to their facebook and instagram etc so you can check out their work before you make your decision. If you find it in the yellow pages move on! Good luck.

  16. I got a tattoo, and I made them to other people at festivals. Problems never was. If tattooist to observe sanitary rules and monitors the safety clean and that no problems will be. Workplace tattoo is that it is safe to prepare and no matter it is in the studio or at the convention. I think that getting a tattoo at the festival is cool and interesting)

  18. the most "dangerous" part is you will want more tattoos and are likely to spend all your money on prints and tshirts.

  19. As others have said, the quality artist you choose will be just as safe and clean no matter where they're tattooing you. There has to be a slightly (tiny) increased risk of an infection, just because you're getting tattooed around hundreds of other people instead of 5-10 people in a shop, but your own aftercare is infinitely more important a factor. The reason not to get a tattoo at a convention has nothing to do with safety, it's about the atmosphere. I found getting a tattoo at last years Montreal convention to be WAY too loud and hectic for my taste. It was very difficult to have a conversation with my tattooer - essentially we were shouting half the time (booth quite close to stage). Afterwards I told myself I'd never get tattooed at a convention again... ...I'm getting my next tattoo in a couple weeks at the Montreal Convention.

  20. Well, I finally quit my job of 9 1/2 years. Some may say that is stupid but the stress level was taking a toll on me. The last year was hell and not getting a raise in 4 years was eating away at me. Still living with my grandparents who have raised me, I have to take care of them. But when i'd get home, I wouldn't "de-stress" and would still be in a shitty mood, which isn't fair or nice to them. I made plans to quit and had tons of back-up plans set up. Two of my back up plans actually worked. I got a full scholarship to grad school which I applied for back in March. So Now I work on campus 18 hours a week and get a small hourly wage but my tuition is 100% paid. Also, my friend purchased a business and immediately had me work with her. We deliver drinks like soda or snapple in NYC twice a week. Starting out, I told her to pay me very very little just to get the ball moving in her court. After about 8 months, is when I'm going to start making some decent money. all in all, I am working less hours. Making more money (in 8 months). Tuition is getting paid. Thursdays and weekends off. stress level is at zero. Started going to the gym more. I am emotionally on cloud 9.

  26. Back in the old days of competitive online gaming, everyone I played against had names like Xxsn1per_k1ll3rxX and shit like that, I wanted something as boring as possible so I just chose the first thing I saw, and just kept it forever. Occasionally get called hardon, don't care.
