  3. Here are my lady arms! My right arm in the left pic was still in-progress. Not too masculine for my taste.... but I guess it all comes down to personal taste. Get what you like! I also don't know what a deco-ish googah is...?!

  7. I stumbled across this article this morning, about a photojournalist documenting a dying tattoo tradition in Syria. The photos are beautiful and I love learning about traditional tattoo practices in different cultures (I had no idea that there was a Kurdish tattoo culture!). I thought some of you nerds might find it interesting too! The Last Tattooed Women of Kobane | PROOF

  8. Hello all. I'm Riv. I always wanted to get work done but reasons that aren't good I never made the move until last June. By end of august I had my 4th tattoo! Looking forward to be a part of this board. Left wrist - My son's name Right wrist - Cross/ekg/heart Left forearm - Proverbs 22:6 Right forearm - a bi plane skywriting my mother's name with our family cat as the pilot. Looking at tat 5 now which I posted below. Would love to hear thoughts on it. Nice to meet you all! http://s10.postimg.org/94phrydc9/image.jpg - - - Updated - - -

    Trying to zone out

Thanks man. I don't feel like a traitor to my beliefs as much anymore, haha. @cltattooing came by and made me laugh during this, hahaha. Good times. Yeah, my arm was stretched out super awkwardly. While doing this, it totally stretches out the tattoo in a weird distorted shape. I'm ready for my next rib tattoo now, not gonna lie. I just want to get it over with.

  14. I think people on here just appreciate good tattoos that will stand the test of time, basically tattoos that look like tattoos

  20. I've been doing a little bit better now that the putrid holidays are done with. I have a couple of tattoo appointments coming up, working on my 1959 Ford, hanging out with our cat Chloe more and taking better care of myself. My BP is down to acceptable levels, just saw my lung doctor and got all my asthma stuff squared away. Drinking waaaayyy less as well and back in the gym 3X a week.

    New girl from NY here!

I would change that price range.... Artists like those at Kings Ave charge that much because they are worth it. You could end up paying that lesser amount but the talent could possible be much less then the 75.00 difference. You should wait and save the money you need to get what you want. Your skin isn't going anywhere and you will have whatever tattoo you get for a LONG TIME!

  22. Like @daveborjes said, go to Fun City. Or Adorned. Or Bound For Glory. Or Saved. Or Kings Ave. Or Lotus. Or Red Rocket. Or Fine Line. Or R&D. Or Invisible. Or Flyrite. Or one of the many awesome shops. There are too many amazing shops in NYC for you to get a mediocre tattoo.

    Filip Leu interview

This photo of a (very) young Filip is amazing on a few levels. First and foremost, he has a pretty good amount of work on him for a child. And secondly, how badass is that reaper he's putting on?
