Finally started my left arm with Grez at King's Avenue NYC yesterday. We got most of the outline done, but there are still some spots to finish lining next month. I'm doing at least one sitting a month, unless they can squeeze me in elsewhere. We'll see. I'll probably post little detail shots along the way, but not really the whole thing until it's done (or close to it).

Wow, that snake and roses is so cool. Here's a little one I got yesterday from Kurt Melancon at a fun Sailor Jerry birthday event at Leviticus in Minneapolis. Obviously not on the same scope as some of these but it's a quality tattoo and fun to share.

I should have included Undigested Kernel with the other Scott Harrison stuff, but I forgot. The Ed Hardy/Bill Salmon photos are from Tattooing the Invisible Man, from when I met them both in London last year.

Another session on my sleeve done by Mike Stockings on Thursday. Couldn't be happier!

Back with Chad K at Congress St Tattoo on feb 27th for my 4th session on my back!!!!! This one he is calling a "power session", which honestly just sounds terrifying!! He is finishing the lines and hoping to also finish all of the black shading!! Should be "fun"!!! Seriously though, I'm super excited!

Hello! I'm Kimmie. I have always loved tattoos and got my first one a few years ago. Though it is incredibly meaningful, I wasn't very knowledgeable about what makes a good tattoo and picked an artist that didn't execute it particularly well. In the last couple of years, I have fallen even more in love with tattoos and soaked up every bit of information possible (following artists, reading articles, watching shows, etc.) On February 6th, I am getting my next piece from the incredible Erick Holguin of Ink and Dagger. It is in memory of my Mom and I could not be more excited. So hello!

thanks omletta now we can see what he is talking about i dont think either of them is too bad curious were they done at the same time? i think if you added some work into each area then the issue with the asymmetry might be alleviated as far as wrecking your life dont panic - just get more tattoos ;)

I don't focus on symmetry. As I plan pieces, certain designs and ideas just seem "right" in specific spots.

Finally got around to watching the subtitled version, awesome stuff. The whole thing has a very relaxed feel so it comes across natural, more of a fly on the wall kinda thing rather than you poking your nose in to someone's business and getting in their way. Makes me want to go to Blue Arms even more than i already did! If there's anything you want to do video-wise when i'm next over i'd be happy to help (not sure exactly how i'd help but that's another story!). Anything to get more of these vids in the world!

Back on the table next week w/ TheGangOfOne ! Excited to get some momentum on my ShaoLin backpiece this new year. Lined in at the beginning of December. this is my back, done by Russ Abbott, I think right after it was finished, roughly 5 years ago now I think.

I was in Paris for this. (The march itself was awesome, if not the reason that caused it to be held.)

I'm not sure if I ever posted a picture of my back when it was finished. Anyway, here it is. (found a better picture)

Booked what will probably be my final trip to Japan for a few years... Tomo is sure he can finish my front-piece this visit, so...I'm going over next September. Flights and hotel booked. It'll be an interesting trip. He's finished up in Yellow Blaze by then and I'll be getting the shinkansen from Tokyo to his home city (1.5 hours) to his new studio. I'm really bummed out to be finishing, in many ways. When I started this front piece I remember feeling like "oh my god, what have I done - this thing will never be finished". Now that it's within my grasp it's all a bit anti-climactic - I almost wish there was more to do. This will be my last big piece, I have room for no more big work.

Whoa, with all the awesome tattoos posted in the Lowdown thread recently I'm surprised no one's posted here yet. I'll kick it off! Here's my thigh by Seth Wood, started at Temple and finished at Saved.

I feel like I've been talking about it forever, but I guess I booked pretty far out. I had my "official" consult with Grez at King's Avenue for my left arm that will start in two weeks. I'm doing a 3/4 sleeve, and we decided on an eagle fighting a dragon. I knew I wanted an eagle, so then we kinda worked through some options. I'm mostly letting him run with it, as everything I've had him do for me so far has been perfect. Haha. I can't wait.

Just booked in with Franz Stefanik to start work on my stomach. Starting with a devil's head, then we'll see what happens next.
