I have no visible tattoos. My back is always covered. My 4 year old granddaughter saw the big sea scene for the first time the other day. She just stared, and them immediately tried to rub it off! And it wouldn't come off! Then she tried to rub harder. But when I asked her if she could find Nemo - bam, she picked him right out. Kids are fun.3 points

Your overall look as a tattooed person

So far I only have tattoos on my upper legs. Plan on getting more but on either my upper arms, torso and back. I would like to be able to wear a short sleeved shirt and shorts but none will know i'm tattooed. Some people ask why, it's because i really don't care if people know i have tattoos or not. As time progresses, I may change my idea on that but that is how i feel for now.1 point -
Why are bad tattoos so popular?
SeeSea reacted to purplelace for a topic
@SeeSea okay, remember those words... Fanny pack is slang for what a woman erm, uses during that time of month. "Need to get fanny pack" is slang for "Need some tampax etc" You did give me the green light. It's another thing that always makes me snigger esp when see a show/film from stateside and they say "It's in my fanny pack" makes me snigger every time. I don't know if it's slang for rest of UK/Ireland but it is here.1 point -
Finally scored a copy of Ozuma Kaname's long out of print "Women in Tattoo" book. I've been drooling over it ever since I saw it in Kurt Wiscombe's shop 6 years ago! Can't wait for it to come in!1 point

Nice on the boxing, used to do a bit of it myself. Nothing serious, but got out of the habit of it a long time ago, really must get back to it. Though kind of self conscious, stupid I know. My first bf taught me how to box, he was a bare knuckle fighter aside from boxing with gloves. Still remember his face to this day, when he asked me to punch him as hard as I could... He definitely regretted that move *cough* He got a black eye for his trouble, in my defence he did ask me and I was 17 at the time. He was 25, he really should have known better! I'm a southpaw and he hadn't realised it. I loved it :) Great for getting pent-up aggression out. And before you ask how did he not realise I'm a southpaw? I was one of the ones who was forced to write with their right hand at school. So he presumed I was orthodox.1 point -

Photos of my tattoo/art books, well the ones I could put my hands on. I will take a wee hoak for the others over the weekend and share pics later. Had some renovation work done here and some books were moved to protect them from dust. I also have a pair of small Japanese masks that a friend got me from their visit in Japan many years ago. Will take a photo of those and share later as well. My favourite books have to be my H R Giger books. I have more than the three shown below. My other tattoo books that were on hand. I do a lot of crafting, hence the tattoo books for children. There is a lot of cross-over for me between tattoo ideas and crafting.1 point -

You are, as always, the voice of reason Lance!1 point -
@TrixieFaux, the only way to find out if you're reading too much into it, is to get a Tomo tattoo and see what he does next. Sound reasoning, right?1 point

Got it this past summer. First Harley. Not the color I would have chosen but it had 2400 miles on it and the guy was letting it go for cheap.1 point

So I decided to go with a hanya. I let the artist do what he wanted. My only input was having snake head come into my chest. He added a couple cool things like the skull ropes for the mask. This is after the first sit. Next sit will be some more details and lines and maybe background and then for some color. Have to decide on a color palette. I'm open to suggestions! Ps sorry for the sideways pics. Doing this on mobile and will fix it when i get a chance.1 point

I thought it might be his way of showing a little jealousy and agreeing with @Lance that I need a second Horitomo, this time of Tomo with lightening bolts... I might be reading too much into this, but... if that's what he's saying, he has a point.1 point -
Maybe he thinks he is a tattooer too! :)1 point
