1 shot Zeis Tiger/Snake by Jason Phillips at FTW in Oakland, CA. Jason slays both Japanese and American traditional. If you're ever in the Bay Area, you should definitely book an appointment with him. So happy with how this turned out. So glad I don't ever have to tattoo my chest ever again.18 points

I talked to Brian at the Perseverance opening about getting tattooed by him while he's guesting in LA but couldn't follow up cos the money in the tattoo fund is already allocated for the next sesh on my arm. One tattoo at a time is the rule I made up for myself. I really wanted one of his beautiful white-tipped peonies and when I look on IG today what do you think I see? So jel.4 points -

Ha ha! Jill Bonny, Jill Mandelbaum, Jill Halpin, and Horiyuki are all one and the same. Tattoo names, Japanese tattoo titles, pen/maiden and married names. Lots of names. But as she once said to me, though, people still manage to find and get tattoos from her. Which btw, I just set up a new consult next week to start something new. Can't wait!3 points -

In no particular order this weekend - taking my boat out for a day of sun and fun on Lake Winnipesaukee, going to a Steely Dan concert, going for a ride on my Harley, hiking with the sheep dogs, making zucchini, carrot, parsnip burgers, drinking iced Stoli, watching my tattoo heal, coming up with ideas for a sleeve on my left arm.2 points -

Heavy, dark, black and grey bat would be a good one. May seem a bit obvious, but it would be a great way to go.1 point -

Hmmm, if the art was cool...yeah. My family is saying since I have a Batman tattoo on my arm already, go Matrix or Star Wars. They also seem to want me to stay away from full figures or faces, so something SYMBOLIC would work...1 point -

Is your tattoo infected and aftercare FAQ
bongsau reacted to smiling.politely for a topic
Linework is generally very easy to heal. At most, if you have itching, a tiny amount of lotion might be helpful. Ointment/lotion is really more for when you have large areas of tattooed skin, and even then, not much is needed. Your body will heal it on it's own if it's clean, anything you put on it is just to keep it comfortable for you, or to keep it from getting overly dry.1 point -
@polliwog a couple of friends have had great success with the Couch to 5km program for building up their fitness. Couch to 5k - C25K Running Program I used to run a lot in my 20's (approx 30 - 40km a week) however due to some back issues it's no longer an option for me and I really miss it.1 point
