I know I already posted this picture when I first got these done, but I figured I'd include a photo in the actual "Hand Tattoo" thread as well. Here are my hands. Applied by Thomas Hooper.6 points

A bunch of people on here have probably seen this all ready but here is what Rudy Fritsch and Iain Mullen did to my back today, took approximatively 2 hours all in all I have a new found respect for people with back tattoos as of this session. Shit is brutal! Only a small portion of it felt all right. I had to struggle really hard at times. I was trying to surf the balance between consciously being there with the agony and discomfort and zoning out and into my head as much as possible. Divine moments of pain, that's what I kept thinking, while also trying to breath slow and stable. Getting tattooed by two tattooers working simultaneously is a good idea though. It's only about 1,568 as painful as getting hit with only one machine but it's about twice as quick! Most of the time the machine working at the most tender spot would be my focus and the other one was mostly irritating. You do get some crazy synergies and some combination of spots gives you new concepts of what pain can feel like. Recommended! Also very happy with the result so far, of course, hardly any need to say that right? Very rememberable afternoon at Imperial Tattoo in Stockholm6 points -
Well then. Session 1 complete of my back piece with Ian Flower at New Skool Tattoo in Surrey. Nowhere near as bad as I was expecting and my back is not feeling too bad all in all. Next session in 3 weeks.5 points

Poor little bear! So glad she's showing a little liveliness. They are the best creatures. I took my cats to the vet for their checkup and my little cat shunned me as punishment for the rest of the day - he refused to get out of my laundry basket - for such a monkey he really doesn't like being out of his comfort zone. - - - Updated - - - Oh your poor little kitty - that's awful! So glad he's OK.2 points -
face tattoos aren't for me. even if it is a good tattoo i can't get over the fact that it is on someones face. but head/scalp tattoos are interesting. specifically japanese wind/water swirls and thomas hooper type stuff. maybe when i'm old, retired, and going bald.2 points

I tried on a bunch of these the other day and laughed & laughed. Maybe they look amazing on people who are 5'10" and willowy. This tattoo keeps getting larger and larger in my head and will probably end up on my thigh now, but I did find a pair of comfy non-harem pants just in case.2 points

Got my right foot tattooed on friday night. Wasn't bad at all. Actually got to sit in a comfortable position and had a good view of the tattoo making. Limped around after but swelling was minimal.2 points

Iron crown tattoo in Monterey CA was established in 2010 and has grown faster than imagined. We are a full custom shop in a great location. We have 2 colleges and 2 military installations and countless of local tattoo enthusiasts and tourists and travelers that keep our shop plenty busy. We need artist with high talent and skill with 3-5 years at least of experience. You have to be comfortable with custom artwork, top quality customer service, and providing a welcoming and enjoyable environment. We need someone that is dedicated and reliable. We've earned a great reputation locally the hard way, and need folks that arent afraid of the hard work it takes to keep it. A love and passion to the craft of tattooing is an absolute must. What we DONT need are the typical things no tattoo shops need these days like rock stars, druggies, unreliability, unprofessional talentless, inexperienced, drunks, tough badasses, drama queens etc. We encourage you to come guest spot to see if you're a good fit to our team You can contact us and send some samples of your work to [email protected] Our website is being revamped as we speak so you can check out Facebook.com/ironcrowntattoo1 point

Face tattoos aren't my thing and won't ever be my thing, but you should post up some pictures of your suit. When you started here you were 130 hours in, and you're at over 200 in half a year, and getting it done half way across the world too...that's some crazy progress. I'd love to see it.1 point -

after the discussion about torso subjects I've been searching around. holy moly... just discovered the eye of atrocity and night parade of dead souls... I've never considered a ghost tattoo before, but some of these are wild. Might at least provide inspiration for the namakubi I want. The page with the warrior ripping the skin off another mans face.... wowzers, that is no joke. I have much to learn1 point

Your First Tattoo Story
HaydenRose reacted to idyllsend for a topic
It was 2 weeks after I turned 18 in '99. My mum took me to a shop attached to a flea market. I got 2 kanji characters on my lower back that were meant to say crazy but actually say arrogant..no surprise there. I've had a few laser treatments on it and it's getting covered, along with a couple others, when I do my full back next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point -

This one made me chuckle: "Great artwork and tattooing, however, it is $60 an hour for tattoos and you can't get an appointment very quickly. They require a one - hour consultation a week before the appointment for large pieces and a down payment is required for all tattoo. I am happy with the work they did but the consultation was pointless since I asked for colorful swirls on my arm and ended up with pink clouds and stars. It looks good, but they were a bit pushy when it came to color and style of my tattoo." At least she gave them 4 stars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point -

My newest tattoo, I sat 5 hours for it last Saturday, and this pic is from the next day. I commissioned the art from my favorite artist (Hannah Yata) and had the tattoo done by Dana Krieg at Pop's Tattoo Emporium in Kingston, NY. I absolutely adore it!! (Although the current healing phase is driving me crazy)1 point -
