here's my new snake on my lower leg by Bailey Robinson. Taken from his insta, best photo I have at the moment.

Healed whispering devil and fresh heel tattoos (and dirty feet). All by my pal Iain Mullen, Imperial Tattoo Stockholm. I am happy I finally decided to get this devil done, had been looking at the sketch in Iains box for a year all ready. It's actually facing inwards, against common tattoo-logic. If you follow around the leg you can see that it's point towards another tattoo of a sleeping lady head, by Jaclyn Réhe. edit: about the heels, the mouth with yin yang was my idea but made to fit by Iain. The other thing, whatever, was drawn on by him. We think it might be a satellite and/or one of those things alchemist brew their stuff in. Either way I think it's just right.

Battered and bruised! Had my first session on my back with Chris over at Kings Ave this past Thursday. I managed to get through 4 hours to complete the basic outline with the exception of the hair on the severed heads. Saving that for the next session along with the remaining background. I'm super excited to continue to work on this and see it progress over time as this is what I've been busting my hump at work for the past year now and it's absolutely completely worth it.

Just got back in from another session...knocked off the top section of the koi, Oniwakamaru's hair, and a few maple leaves. Next session in two weeks on the 18th. Mike

It doesn't seem like much has happened, but my ass thinks otherwise :) Today the shading on my leg was finished, the black 'diamonds' in the clothes, and that large patch of black on my ass :) Next time (in two weeks) we are going to start with some color :cool:

Polish Prison Tattoos Look what I found! These tattoos outlasted their owners. There's a cool skull and snake, a random guy on a bike (no mustache), some very interesting couplings...pretty cool tattoos. :)

So you failed to get a perfect tattoo*! Stop worrying about it, and go fail better...by getting more tattoos. If you want to add more colour, go ahead. I think it looks fine as is though. *is there even such a thing?

I'm so excited. I felt like our cat, Aurora, needed a friend. I got @DJDeepFried to agree last night (and once I got the green light from him I acted fast) so today we adopted this little guy. They named him Cream Puff at the Humane Society but I think we are changing it to Horitomo, Tomo for short. We have to wait until Tuesday to bring him home.

Got this sweet tengu mask done by Stewart Robson at the Scottish Tattoo convention last weekend. Sorry for the crappy phone picture. I am well chuffed with it. Edit: the picture quality is worse than I thought. I will switch it when I get a sharper one. This doesn't do it justice at all. Sorry.

Definitely went a little excessive with framing a $20 print, but these were our honeymoon purchase and Horitomo was gracious enough to sign them. The wife and I are very happy with how they turned out.

Quick update. State of Grace and Horitomo released more prints so naturally I had to add to my wall. Filled in this space so far. Have six more pieces to place elsewhere in the apartment. Will provide another update shortly. LOVE the MonMon cats!!!

By this point you'd think I would know that the best tattoos I see on IG belong to fellow LSTers! Love the tattoos, your Horses are going to be amazing.

I think it looks great. Also, the op mentioned that it was a few weeks old. That's exactly what tattoos look like at a few weeks old. Give it a few more weeks and watch all that ink settle in, then enjoy it!!! And then get more tattoos!!! Don't over analyze your tattoos!! (oh, we all do at some points, but we shouldn't!). I really think this looks great as is. Just needs about 25 more surrounding it :) In my opinion, all that new tattoo needs is a few more weeks of healing and more tattoos. Colors look great! Sometimes there are tattoos that make me want to be friends with the person who has that tattoo, because there is no way they have that tattoo and aren't somebody I'd want to hang out and shoot the shit with, and this is absolutely one of those tattoos.

My lady is an artists (not the tattoo kind, unfortunately) and here are a couple of my favorites.

@Damo Foo Dogs (or Fu Dogs, Shishi or Karajishi) are generally seen in pairs and pair well with peonies (Botan). Karajishi Botan is a classic motif :). The king of flowers with the king of beasts! Clark North Art has a lot of info on those and other symbols in Japanese tattoo. It's a good quick reference to use as a jumping off point, but there are sooo many more resources out there, don't stop there!

I love this. Especially because my MIL is constantly trying to tell me I should stop getting tattooed and instead save my money for the *future* which = her grandbabies. Don't really feel like being broke just yet...

This is Chloe. My son came home with her almost 2 years ago and now she's almost 6. We celebrate her birthday on 5/5 (cinco de mayo) since we have no idea what it really is. This is the best cat ever and I've had scores of cats through the years. Rob

@Fala @TrixieFaux I'm having that breathless, panicked feeling that comes when I want something RIGHT NOW...calling is now on my to do list. (Along w other tattoos; bills, etc..patience is quite a virtue now...)

Becoming obsessed with the idea of getting one of these tattooed... Still working on right arm, two appointments to go coming up in Feb & March. Getting up to San Jose not easy. Maybe one day?

Hahahaha, I think I actually picked up the same frames as both of you last night. The four pack at BB&B. They were the first things the wife and I hung up in our new house! Edit: I have no idea why my images upload sideways.

Pretty much sums it up for me. Opposite side of the coin. I don't collect shit... I don't owe anybody anything (well, except for that 1 student loan, and it'll be paid off next year). I DO own: 1 old VW Beetle. 1 old Murray bicycle. Some nice music gear. Most of my torso and a good portion of my legs covered in art work done by only one or two local tattoo artists. Artwork that can't be duplicated because it's a reflection of me at this point. Oh, and some books and CD's that I can't seem to part with.

Our daughter told us we couldn't get the one with the skull on it. "No skulls!", she announced. We got it anyway. Bad parents. If it really freaks her out, we may have to put it aside for a bit until she grows out of this phase. @DJDeepFried was all, "But look honey, it's smiling, it's not scary, it's a cute happy skull!" Still no dice.
