  2. On Sunday, @Paul A. Dobleman added three horsepower to my right leg. I'm still stunned at how beautiful it is. He just added it to his LST gallery: pharoahs horses with rope Tattoo Picture | Last Sparrow Tattoo

  3. Today was the third session on my Tamatori-Hime sleeve/chestpiece. It took 5 hours to put in some background on my upper arm :) (There is some old kanji on my upper arm that's in the process of being covered) And this is the complete picture of how it is now:

My next planned tattoo is a jap. Dragon on my thigh. Marius Meyer gonna do it. So stoked about this. As for now, I think I´m gonna dedicate my whole right leg for jap. stuff. After that, my first pri. is to finish a cover I started.

  13. I am planning a trip to South Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and ending in Singapore for April of next year and would like anyones opinion on a few basic things. -General Budget (I'm comfortable at around 35-45 dollars a day) -Housing (Thinking mostly Hostels in big cities, huts on islands) -Modes of transportation (Plane/Bus/Train) -Cool fuckin' places to go (anywhere) If you have anything to add please feel free. I'm making the trip with the lady for my quarter life crisis... so I want to exprience as much weird shit as possible. No Thai ladyboys though. Thanks

I would seriously reconsider using this stuff. I talked to a tattoo artist that’s doing my backpiece about this and the ink doesn't take that well. It also disrupts the healing process. He told me he can tell when someone uses this stuff even if they don't tell him. Just man up and take the pain. It’s part of the journey towards something truly awesome.

  16. Killer tattoos everyone! @introspect and @DevilMan being my favorite so far for obvious reasons. @hogg should have done more front squats and that tattoo could have been much bigger! @jade1955 that is ballsy. Awesome tattoo.

I've recently joined a private LinkedIn group for tattoo removal specialists, and this recently came up. All of the members, most of them doctors, have said this stuff leaves scars and changes the skin texture on the clients they've seen healed treatments on.

  23. Definitely fixable and needs more color. If you're not confident with the original artist, start looking for someone else in your area. Rob

  24. I have all the anime downloaded, including the reboot from several years ago. Also have copies of Hobby Japan which contained all the plastic figure models. I remember building several of the soft vinyl models back in high school. Great stuff.

Leaving tomorrow morning for another 4000 mile driving trip for more tattoos :) First is Tofi on the 20th, then Victor Portugal on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd to carry on with my back peice and then on to Silvano Fiato on the 26th. Victor is doing my arse cheeks this time around so driving 3000 more miles on it doesn't sound like fun lol

[quote name='iowagirl;71503 Cell I liked' date=' and Full Dark No Stars and Just After Sunset. I just dig him mucho. I like sci fi/fantasy stuff a lot too.[/quote'] Cell Was great!! They're talking about making it into a movie/short series. I understand that with the big zombie craz right now it makes since but I dont think its what the public is wanting. I loved it though and hope it does really well.

  30. Namakubi is a great choice! Jørgensen makes them incredibly good. I was actually talking with @Iwar, about getting a Namakubi from Matt Beckerich from Kings A. as a backup-plan if the other appointments goes to hell. I really like his way to do them. Do you have a plan b if Jørgensen don´t have any cancellations? Fingers crossed for you too man!

  32. I never really did anything about the pain, but I have had two tattooers use some kind of numbing spray twice. Really it doesn't do much but take the hard edge off, still hurt like hell.

    Tatt2away?

I once had a customer show me this method that was being used on her foot tattoo (i tattooed something else on her arm) and it looked horrific. it did indeed take off the tattoo (mostly) in the spots where the treatment had taken place, but if anything it makes a cover up way harder because of the contrast between the 'skin' spots and the rest of the tattoo. she also said the scabs took months to heal, were incredibly painful to apply and heal, the area stayed swollen for weeks. she said the spots had to be over an inch apart due to the swelling, the person doing it told her. if a customer of mine brought me a tattoo in such a estate asking for me to cover it, i'd be very dubious as to take it on. google image search results. i'd say speak to your tattooer before you do anything, the tattoo you want covered up might not need such drastic removal, or simply a couple of laser removal treatments might be enough to evenly fade the tattoo away to allow a less heavy cover up.

    The ED HARDY Thread

Not much to contribute other than I really enjoyed reading Wear Your Dreams; such a great book! Ed must've influenced more artists than any other tattoo artist in history. Even Horiyoshi III in the last Gypsy Gentleman said that he "wouldn't be the tattooer he is today without Ed Hardy." Incredible!
