Well I am slightly nervous about putting up a pic of my tattoo for some reason, anyway it is only part of the tattoo and I feel it is ok to post it as the tattoo artist doing the work posted this pic on his instagram page. Artist is Tristan Bentley works at Ocean Ink in Miranda Sydney Australia and yes the octopus is smiling :D, the photo was about 2 minutes after we were finished for the day.

    Spell Check!

I personally don't look at a stencil once it's put on. The tattooer knows if it looks good where it's been placed and will create a nice piece of work. However, I have never had any writing done as part of a piece. I would check writing....... Olympic Tattoo Misspelled: Terri Peterson, 2012 Torch Bearer, Gets Embarrassing Ink Typo (VIDEO) BTW, if this was somehow posted in the past, I apologize in advance

  9. davidbruehl- Print for sale $40 shipped PayPal [email protected]. I've extended this til the 23rd. Proceeds are going to my friends the Montgomery's. Their son died suddenly a few weeks back in a sudden accident with a gun. The proceeds from this print will go towards all the costs associated with the tragedy. The prints will be done on nice paper through Rebel Reprints, so it won't be some Kinko's garbage. Please share this. https://twitter.com/davidbruehl Just passing this along and I dont have FB or twitter but wanted to share If this is not ok I apologize update: this is not for me and I do not know the montgomery's , but Having just buried my son aswell this grabs at my heart

    Spell Check!

I saw a girl come into the shop with a memorial piece she had gotten done for her father. "Daddy's Little Angle" I suggested instead of covering it up, we just put a speed square underneath and say he was a carpenter.

  16. Hi, I am joining this forum in search of a like minded tattoo loving community! I currently have four tattoos with one regret...soon to be lasered and covered. No particular single style of preference but I at the moment I have some "new school trad" in both colour and B&G, some wildlife realism and the piece to be covered is a b & g piece applied by quite the butcher in my earlier tattoo seeking years. I see myself eventually being fairly extensively covered in a mix of styles with the overall impression of a tattoo scrap book...as much as I love looking at full and cohesive body suits I feel that that is not the way forward for me. I look forward to making some acquaintances and learning some more about the industry/community/culture or whatever else you would like to describe our world as! I hope to meet you soon! Alex

  18. I just wanted to say thanks for LST for everything it is and represents in the tattoo community. In light of the recent accident my friend Jordon Teear was involved in on Sunday, I am slowing down enough to read LST...thanks for the overwhelming amount of support to Jordan...he is out of surgery and will be spending the next few weeks to month here in the states away from home, family, and friends before doctors will clear him to fly and no doubt the community has gone above and beyond to show him it's support. Thanks again to everyone. All my best Aaron Finnin

    Batman US cinema shooting

That occurred to me too, but even if someone was carrying, I think they would have had their work cut out for them to return fire accurately at the right person in those kinds of conditions. Shooting in low light is tricky at the best of times, but add in a few hundred screaming people milling around, possibly smoke etc. and lots of 5.56 coming down-range from a guy wearing a vest.. Not great.

  21. Not my taste, but it looks well done. you can have the shading changed, shouldn't be a major deal. BUT QUIT PUTTING VASELINE ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really don't need any greezy shit like that on a fresh tattoo. Some light, hypoallergenic, unscented skin lotion is all you need, and not much of that.

  26. Jack this thread all you want. Don't matter to me. I'll be out doing some conventions this year, if anybody has a problem from this point on, let's keep it off the Internet and discuss things on a personal level. I'm getting sick of online flame wars.

  28. As a fellow motorcyclist and artist, I'm glad he made it out with his life and his HANDS. Breaking your legs sucks, but injuring your hands or arms as someone that makes his living with his hands could ruin you for life. Hope he has a speedy recovery!

  36. Reading his responses I was almost compelled to send him an 'customer service 101' primer. here's a tip: Eat the shit sandwich. "Andy, I'm so sorry this has taken so long and I'd be happy to refund you and even send you a machine on me to make up for your terrible experience." Then refund. Then ship the comp'd machine. KISS A LITTLE ASS. There are tons of people making machines; you have options out the ass when you're buying a new one. So when someone has a bad experience... hustle. Kiss that ass. Make it right. People never learn. Good luck with the refund, Duder.
