  1. 'Scuse the pictures, they were taken by a friend who wasn't real comfortable using my camera. And then attaching them here ate the colour (not that it matters at this stage). Also excuse my arm-cleavage :P Anywho, after 3x3hour sessions, lines: I haz them. Favourite parts are the crowns (Cypress and Ivy) and the hair. And the eyelashes ^.^ There should be more Greek Mythology tattoos. Got another session with Rachi in about a week and a half.

    Latest tattoo lowdown.....

@Hogg Yeah man the last two session were particularly difficult. I had back to back days of color going over parts tattooed from the previous day, I was feeling good going into it and when your getting tattooed by Shige and have traveled half way round the world you just do it, I have always found when I travel for tattoos I sit heaps better because you know its not that easy to return. Shige said he would usually do a piece this size in six session,I was stretched pretty financially with the tattoo and two trips to Japan so he made it happen in four for which I was very grateful. the pics don't show the backside of my leg but he has continued onto my calf between my two Grime pieces.

    Panther Tattoos

Ross Nagle posted this picture of a cover-up / reworking of an old tiger tattoo. The tiger becomes a panther with the cover-up ... Thought this was particularly cool for some reason. Instagram Creeping through the foliage like an assassin...

    palm tattoos

since there has been a lot of discussion about them over at the Most Painful thread, i thought it might be time to set aside a thread devoted to palm tattooing alone. i saw a set that Lizzie did and i thought it was extremely beautiful and elegant despite being so simple (and physically, understandably so!) i would be lying if i said i wasn't jealous and didn't wish that it was on me rather than the person in the picture (and i have never wanted hand tattoos before seeing this!) anyone else seen any that they really love?

  11. Getting some more work on my arm from Stewart Robson tomorrow. I thought I was going on my own but wife managed to bag a last minute cancelation appointment with Valerie Vargas. To say the missus is very excited has to be the understatement of the year.

  15. Local branch has pretty much imploded here. There were about 100 people left yesterday when they were asked to move on. Most complied (and the cops provided vehicles to help move all their stuff!), about 20 sat down and were moved off 1 by 1. Most of the city is concerned with the $30k worth of damage they did to the park. They're now arguing with each other over Facebook about where they'll "Occupy" next. The Premier (like our state's "Governor") even offered them another inner-city-but-out-of-the-way park to set up in.

  17. The problem is not CEO salaries. The problem is how much influence these large corporations have over our government. The reason so much deregulation (in banking) has taken place since 1980 is rich assholes paying the elected officials to look after their interests and not those of the entire country. A few people making enormous amounts of money does not matter. It only matters when they are paying government officials to rewrite the Constitution so they can make those enormous amounts of money. The George Carlin quote that Dari added at the beginning of this thread is dead on. Also some of you may have noticed that my location is Canada, but I am an American. I am married to a Canadian, and when we started weighing the pros and cons of raising a family in the US or Canada it did not take long to make a decision. I consider myself very lucky to have been given a choice. I am not saying that the Canadian government is perfect, but Canada was the right choice for my family. And even though I live in Canada I follow US politics and events much more closely than Canadian ones. The final thing I will say is I don't think we should expect perfection from any government, but we should expect a hell of a lot more than what the US government is doing right now.

    Occupy Wall Street

Whether or not you support their position, the First Amendment guarantees our right to freedom of speech and our right to assemble, for people to gather for peaceful and lawful purposes. However, the city is planning an eviction, with police support, to "clean" the park. The park is privately owned, but with the condition that it be open to the public 24 hours a day. Showdown looms between Wall St protesters and cops - Yahoo! News Protest organizers are cleaning the park themselves, forced removal by the police is a terrible idea. You can sign this petition to the Mayor if you support them staying, or just to let remind them that the world is watching: Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) | URGENT: Defend Occupy Wall Street

    Panther Tattoos

Mike and Richard as everyone has already said are the best at panthers hands down. Richard can do literally any animal though, with no reference other than his brain, and not use a stencil either.. it's retarded.. this is an in progress shot of my mike wilson panther (also seen in the back piece thread)
