Found this pic of my boss, you can really see the panther head done by Dan Higgs on his chest. I would say the tattoo was done in 1991-1992 and the photo was 1994, but it still looks pretty good to this day. Funny I was hoping to find a photo of his Freddy Corbin Rock of Ages on his ribs, but all you can see is a little water in this photo.4 points -

That is a great photo. Your boss looks like a 1920's bank robber with a bunch of tattoos. I mean that as a compliment.3 points -
Bailey once lived with a friend of mine. He'd always hang out in his underpants no matter who was over, you kinda have to respect a guy like that.3 points

had a slight set back. while in the process of backing up my external drive full of content for the book it crashed. total nightmare. after a few week of data recovery and anxiety we recovered almost everything. lesson learned. back things up more often. trying to get caught up and make up for time lost. we are still shooting for a early 2012 release. i would love to have them for the slc convention. Yellow Beak Press | Coming Soon! should be up in the near future. we also shot a video promo with some cool teaser shots of the repaints. that should be online at the same time the website launches. pre orders will follow shortly.1 point

I picked up my copy of Bloodwork: Bodies on Sunday. It's two volumes and weighs 27 pounds. It's also the nicest tattoo book I've ever seen. It features stunning photography of 119 backpieces and bodysuits by an absolutely ridiculous list of artists. If you are at all able to get your hands on a copy, you will not be disappointed.1 point

The dreaded wait to be tattooed
cfgsteak reacted to David Flores for a topic
Got two hours done on my back on Friday, would really like to finish the rest of the black, hopefully sometime this week and start color. It's just a matter of how busy the shop is this week. I just found out Cheyenne at Atlas Tattoo is now just doing walk ins, which is making my no tattoos till I get my back finished even harder, but I am sticking to my guns so far. On an unrelated note, my boss is back into getting tattooed and looking to finish his body suit this year and he is having Cheyenne do a piece on the biggest piece of real estate he has left. I am happy for him he deserves to get a new tattoo.1 point -

talking about Henry Rollins in the Random Picture Thread and I thought I'd contribute this. Henry Rollins is surprisingly funny talking shit about Creed, electronic music, and more. Best quote - "When I was 18 I wanted to fuck on the floor and break shit. When I was 25 I wanted to fuck on the floor and break shit. When I was 35 I wanted to fuck on the floor and break shit. Now I'm 40 and I want to fuck on the floor and break shit!"1 point

Tribal tattoos
Turquoise Cherry reacted to Lizzie for a topic
You guy sshould look at Adam Sage. He's amazing. I think he's on myspace pretty much exclusively as he's not th ebiggest internet guy. We had him at our shop this year doing some handmade tattoos and he's incredibly skilled. I think we're even lucky enough to have him come work here for a longer extended time now! When I think tribal, I think black, patterns, geometric or organic, that have to be perfect in terms of design and layout. I guess tha tsome people may have a taste for rougher or less organized stuff but my personal taste always leans toward images that test technique and skill.1 point
