Hahah Bobby is a good kid. I'm having the best time, everyone has made me feel so at home, Tom is such a great dude, Rich is hilarious, shop is busy, Couldn't ask for more! Not to mention Binky has been nice enough to let me crash in his loft amidst the incredible Higgs murals. Seriously I'm so honored to be here, humbled by my surroundings, and simultaneously feeling some great brotherly and positive vibes. Life is good in Bradley Beach!3 points

Latest tattoo lowdown.....

I had the honor of getting a Peony tattooed by @Stewart Robson last night at SFO. What a great guy (and obviously world class artist)...awesome time talking with him. Amazing experience sitting there being tattooed while artist after artist came up to greet Stewart/Valerie and check out what they were doing. I was being tattooed by Stewart right next to Valerie tattooing a girl while watching Mike Rubendall and Henning Jorgensen tattoo about 10 feet away. Insane! If Stewart doesn't put something up, I'll try to get a good picture when it heals.2 points -
It's people like him who make is necessary to start having laws and licensing for tattoo shops and tattooers. If someone like him was faced with a possible say $10,000 fine for tattooing without a licence then maybe he'd weigh that against the maybe $100 he would make from the tattoo. The main problem is people like him do not realize that real tattooers put their entire life into their art and that is why they charge the prices they do. Would he try to do discount plumbing for people with no training? Probably not, and he'd probably be breaking the law by doing so if he did. Fuck this dude and every one like him. I hope he gets his hands broken.2 points

I met and chatted with Stewart and Valerie, both of whom were incredibly nice even though they were super jet-lagged and of course, saw all the Blackheart folks (I'm including @dari in that bunch, too). It was also nice to run into some folks I hadn't seen in a while. Looking forward to more of the same at the convention.2 points

I think without the tattoos he looks like the type of guy who would wear affliction t shirts and fist pump the air while drinking red bull and wearing flip flops With the tattoos he looks more like a punk rocker type of guy2 points -

is it just me or does he look weird without tattoos?2 points -
I like that picture...you are both laughing. It looks like a fun time. Its one of my favorite things about getting tattooed...that really unhibited feeling at the shop, off color jokes, pretty much nothings off limits to laugh and joke about...everyone's pretty equal with their ass hanging out getting tattooed at the shop.2 points

exactly, when you put your efforts into positive things and pursue the path to promote the good you do see then all this nonsense fades away. you'll also find yourself in a better mental state when you aren't getting distracted by the garbage that will continue no matter what laws, websites, or complaining can stop.1 point

Besides the thievery and praying one of my 18 month old twin boys never get something from a piker like this, this shit is so under any talented artist it should't even be on his/her radar. This is some piker bullshit and not worth the keystrokes. Non of these "customers" are smart enough or willing to spend enough to get a real tattoo. So they are really not taking money out of your pocket. If anything these pikers will eventually learn something about tattoo culture, quit and become a paying customer. Every field has it's pikers. These guys are not on your radar and should not get under your skin. With respect, George1 point

So I'm sure everyone remembers this guy His tattoos have shot him into fame. Appearing in runway fashion shows in Paris and Lady Gaga's hit video Born This Way. Well now he's doing a campaign for the Dermablend makeup brand. It's one of the only makeups that claims to fully erase your tattoo for the day. It's actually kind of crazy how well it seems to work. Anyways kind of a neat video and weird to see the dude with no tattoos. Zombie Boy demonstrates the ultimate tattoo concealer - Telegraph Edit to add: Here;s the video commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DhETFvPYDbI1 point

Tattoo age on VBS

When Rubendall was flipping through his art, I saw a Pushead print I've been chasing for YEARS. And he hasn't even framed it. The horror. The horror. Re: The Corbin episodes. Can't wait. I dropped off some old video of him to the VICE offices for use in the episodes and chatted with the producer about "what comes next". Not to give anything away without permission, but they HAVE shot footage for what could be season two. I had heard about it while getting tattooed earlier in the day; not sure Chris would have told me if I didn't mention it. But it will end up being iconic footage, and if they don't use it... I'll drive back to brooklyn and demand he at least leak it on the internet.1 point -

Tattoo Thief
Ursula reacted to slayer9019 for a topic
Yea this dude is a thief. The scarier thing is people see all that work on his wall and think its him even though the few he had up there that were his were nowhere as good as the others! Sad thing is he probably doesn't know who ed hardy really is...1 point -

I tend to not grab anything out of someones hand that just came from their groin area. Pretty much the best code to live by.1 point -
just to be clear, it doesnt say he tattooed the 9 year old. that's not to say that he didn't just that the story doesn't say it was him. its at least interesting to know that this kinda stupidity isn't exclusive to america. who tattoos a 9 year old? seriously? i grew up in some hillbilly outskirts of atlanta and most kids were at least in middle school before they had tattoos (they had done them on themselves).1 point

And old enough to know better, 51 years old. Tattooing 9 year old children. Jesus wept.1 point

I mean it looks a little weird because his body is all one colour but I'm sure if you're less covered it could look pretty convincing. I think it might actually try it to cover a couple small tattoos I hate for my wedding photos.1 point
