    Tiger tattoos

This is a crappy iPhone pic--plus the freshly done tiger is still very bloody--but I finished up with Tim Lehi Saturday: Our own A.Sanchez was getting tattooed by Scott at the same time. Small world!

dcostello, this is how I see you already, please make it a reality for me. But the pregnant woman brings it all together. I was thinking that maybe in your photo shoot she should be wearing a whole rabbit head, like from a mascot costume. But it's just a suggestion, you work it out however you see fit. If you take them by yourself, will you also be sporting a tube top?

    Tiger tattoos

Richard was looking at this and he said he "didn't do that backpiece, great tattoo, the right person should get credit for that"...

Anytime I hate everything I watch Spongebob. Fuckin love that guy so much. Patrick is a silly bastard. Squidward is awesome too. I like Mr. Craps, but hate is whale of a daughter.

  12. i have a feeling i am really behind the ball on this one, but i'm still schooling myself on european tattooers and i just discovered Stizzo, an italian artist. it looks as though he owns and works out of his own shop called Best of Times, in milan. i'm sure anyone who works the milan convention is probably familiar with him. i really enjoy his use of black, it's beautiful and it really gets me. you can check his stuff out on facebook under Stizzo Tattoo. seeing that he has over 4,000 friends on facebook, i assume his work is no secret. but i had never heard his name or seen his work in books, magazines or on the web before. here some samples...

  13. haha, thanks everyone. Nothing too exciting just a busy day of work, research and now an early night leaving town tomorrow (SAC) for the day for a mtg on a new contract with the state I just found out I was granted around linguistics and psychology which I am very very excited for. It'll be my first time doing the Amtrack line to SAC so should get to do work with a new view.

    Owl with keys?

maybe it doesnt have ANY meaning. keys are cool, owls are cool. on the other hand...... owls are seen as "wise" creatures. keys are used to open doors. wise one holds keys to open doors? doors that are either literal or figureative. is that stretching it too far? im sticking with my first theory.

  15. i was 15 one of my buddies was going to get tattooed by dragon mike in houston texas and my other friend was getting tattooed by richard stell at scorpion studios which was across the street at the time around '91/'92 and i tagged along all i really remember is how terrified i was of richard after he tossed me out for drawing in the shop and mimicking the designs on the wall. i was 15 and didnt realize what a faux pah that was. also richard was a much bigger and orney looking dude then than now if you can imagine.i still came back and hung out almost daily with my buddies but i hung in the back scared of richard. that impression stuck with me so even as a grown man in my 30's id see richard at conventions and was afraid to approach him til the san jose convention 3 years ago where i walked up and introduced my self and he remebered i believe because the first thing he said after i told him my name and that used to hang out in his shop was "oh yeah, didnt i throw you the F%@$ out?" then i got tattooed by him and he was the nicest guy and very quick witted so then i felt pretty silly for being afraid of him for all those years. ha

  17. same here. met stewart 6/7 yrs ago when i got tattooed by him, we finally got together 4 years ago and i'll happily spend the rest of my days with him. he's pretty awesome and we work together so well. i havent, up to this point, met many couple tattooers who work in the same shop and usually when i explain our situation people raise an eyebrow. i love the way its worked out and i thank my lucky stars every day. tattooing is so awesome.

  18. i met my girlfriend/future wife in brooklyn 2007. i was doing a guest spot at saved tattoo, she was my final appointment on my last day there...we immediately knew we'd be together. after visiting her every month for 9 months, she moved here form new jersey in 2008. i owe EVERYTHING in my life to tattooing.
