My boss (Jack Witt) used to zap at a couple of different spots on the Pike (Lee Roy's, Long BeachTattoo) and has a killer scrapbook of vintage photos and business cards. I scanned all of them the other day. Being an ex-HA(apparently not an easy club to quit) and working on the Pike in the mid 70s, he has a boatload of great stories. I can't give ALL of the gems away, but here's some decent ones I can post.

My grandmother was one of those stars, asshole! That's why it's super important that you put them on my ribs under the opening paragraph of my favorite Twilight novel.

The Bluray version of Santa Sangre is SO f'ing nice. When Topo and Mountian finally come out, I'm going to lock myself in my movie room and not come out for a few days. I had a chance to go see Holy Mountain in NYC about four, five years ago. They had just restored the print and it was crisper than I had ever seen it. Before the show starts, they introduce Alejandro and we collectively gasped. He spoke for a little bit, then sat right down with us and watched the movie. I had met Kenneth Anger earlier that night, so walking up and shaking hands with Jodorowsky.... that just made my year. Sadly, I don't ever see KING SHOT getting made. It's been in "preproduction" for a couple of years now.

from what i'm seeing around facebook, it looks like girlheads with a wolf, panther, tiger, goat etc head on top.

1) tiny lettering upside down on the wrist 2) paragraphs of tiny lettering on the ribs and inner bicep 3) even smaller tiny lettering behind the ear.
