Sprinkles
So I got this done back in April/March of this yr and it turned dark. At first I thought sun exposure but my thigh did the same thing in parts. Does anyone know what I can do to help? I’m hoping in time it’ll heal better the first image is what it look like the day after and the second is now. Yeh I asked her and she’s not too sure either. Called it hyperpigmentation but wasn’t sure how or why it happens Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/9849-darkened-tattoo/#findComment-152269 Share on other sites
oboogie
If that's the case, I doubt there is much you can do about it. Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/9849-darkened-tattoo/#findComment-152270 Share on other sites
suburbanxcore
I have a few spots in tattoos that kinda look this way, often in light blue. I was talking with an artist about it and they said it often happens when you mix white in to lighten a color and then the white discolors (which we all know happens). Nothing you can do, but honestly it doesn’t look bad. I wouldn’t sweat it. As your tattoo ages you won’t notice every little imperfection anyhow.
