Different Tattoo Inks

Are some inks " better " than others for the end result, or does it mainly depend on the artists preference ?

Just learning about tattoos and see for example different people rant and rave about different black inks. From what i've read it depends on the artists preference more than anything ?

Yes, some inks are really better, but no less depends on the preferences of artists and their skills. Before the tattooing, you should review the work of tattoo artists and ask what ink they use.

Thought so.

Perhaps they have worded it wrong and mean that it doesn't fade quickly ( i.e just after it's healed )

My last artist used the dynamic black triple. Will be interesting to see how it heals compared to the other ones.
