un1verse
Hello all, my dad recently got his first tattoo, and we’re both pretty stressed about what is normal, and what is not. We know that aquaphor is good for tattoos (i think), and keeping it moisturized is key. Please help, we’ll accept any tips! Hogrider
Use just enough to keep the skin moist. Too little is better than too much. Yes scabbing is normal. oboogie
I'd start dry healing. Just keep it clean and stop putting anything on it. You are definitely drowning it. SStu
those just look like spots where the tattooist dug in a bit. Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/9731-is-this-scabbing-normal-5-day-old-tattoo/#findComment-151608 Share on other sites
