Tattoo healing help please

I got this tattoo about 8 days ago and it has flaked a good bit but underneath is kinda dull grey insted of black and “milky”. Is this normal. Does it look normal? And will it get darker again?

3-4 weeks for a tattoo to heal enough that you can see what you're really going to end up with.
