Gomezgirl76
Hi Everyone, This tattoo is 2.5 weeks old, and was done by an experienced artist. the red side was fine, no problems, however, the blue side seemed ok at first and then scabbed heavily all over. I thought I might have just been reacting differently to it. When the scabs fell off, I saw that it was reddened underneath, and there is still dark red discolouration through the blue. I’ve got several tattoos, some black and some coloured and have never had anything like this happen. is it scarring? Is it discoloured due to reacting with my skin? there is no heat, no inflammation, no pain and no discharge. anyone seen anything like this before? thanks. Hygge.
Seems like the skin is overworked, or your skin simply did not like the ink. Let it heal and maybe you could get it reworked, if you think it's infected go to the doctor but it will be fine!Sometimes this kind of stuff just happens. SStu
Yeah, you're gonna have to wait another 3-4 weeks to know what you've really got. That area gets lots of stretching and bumping, too. It may be just fine. Hogrider, Gomezgirl76, ezh and 1 other 3
Hogrider
Take a deep breath and relax. you won't know anything until it's had 6-8 weeks to heal. That's some thin, delicate skin, so it make take a while. Gomezgirl76 and oboogie 1
Gomezgirl76
Thank you all for taking the time to reply to me. I will just wait and see what happens over the next month or two. 🙂
