Txteach2010
This is my first tattoo; therefore, I don’t know what’s normal and not. I’ve spent a lot of time Googling this, but haven’t found a direct answer...so, here I am. The lines on the left side of my heart are getting blurry and jagged. Today marks two weeks since I had it done, and the issue began just a few days ago. The first week, I washed and patted dry with antibacterial soap and used A and D ointment. This last week, I switched over the unscented Lubriderm. The arrow and heart never scabbed or peeled like the other part, which is my son’s name. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a dumb question! Edited January 4, 2020 by Txteach2010

Hogrider
It takes 4 - 6 weeks to heal. You don't know what it will look like until it's healed. You have thin lines on thin, delicate skin which is the most prone to blow-outs. as @Dan said, put away the microscope and enjoy your tattoo. oboogie, SStu and Dan
