M90
Is it possible to cover text with slightly larger and slightly bolder text? I just got my first tattoo and it's slightly lower than it probably should have been. I guess I didn't look closely enough when the stencil was on, I was a little nervous and intimidated by the whole thing and just checked kind of quickly. Not the end of the world but a little upset I fucked up like this. Maybe it's just in my head/my eye? I drew on the picture where I think it should have been. Maybe if the lettering were thicker like the last picture. Loveitwhentheyrun
To be honest bro I think It looks better where it is than where you have the line. Give it a couple weeks to try and get used to sometimes you will end up liking something you thought was weird at first. If you end up wanting to cover it tho you wouldnt be able to cover it with those same words and make it look good IMO. SStu
No. Nothing wrong with that placement. On the other hand that particular font in that size might not age too well . . . oboogie
Just leave it. It might end up looking fuzzy soon, though. You may end up covering it up with something much bigger later when it is unreadable. We talked about size and aging and I said I trusted their judgement when it came to that since it was my first... SStu
All ink spreads a bit over the years. Time will tell. Slartibartfast
I agree with the comments above re placement. I think if it had been too much higher it might bend and distort with flexing. try and take a break from looking at it. Wait until it is completely healed. Too late now! At least it'll look cool for a few years Dan, SStu and Hands On 3 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/8732-got-my-first-tattoo-i-screwed-up/#findComment-145516 Share on other sites

bongsau
you're overthinking it dude. it's fine. and you got tonnes of real estate to make more tattoos around it.
