Tattoo fading!! What is happening?

Hey im new to this site and had a few questions about tattoo and the sun. So i got a full sleeve tattoo about half a year ago, very nice japanese  Koi fish. I had the fish done in a light blue color and only in that area where the  fish is seems to get worse as day goes by, its right on my forearm. I work outside so alot of time im in direct of the sun i put lotion on everyday, even a few times especially when its really hot out. Am i not putting enough lotion on it or what is the problem i really want to get some feedback on this thanks

Hi,yes your skin will tan through the tattoo,so it looks faded,try a good sunblock like SPF50,or a quality long sleeve UV protective shirt

or, perhaps the artist wasn't adept at getting good saturation. Picture?
