Jaeeeeee
Hey im new to this site and had a few questions about tattoo and the sun. So i got a full sleeve tattoo about half a year ago, very nice japanese Koi fish. I had the fish done in a light blue color and only in that area where the fish is seems to get worse as day goes by, its right on my forearm. I work outside so alot of time im in direct of the sun i put lotion on everyday, even a few times especially when its really hot out. Am i not putting enough lotion on it or what is the problem i really want to get some feedback on this thanks Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/8479-tattoo-fading-what-is-happening/ Share on other sites
Dan
Hi,yes your skin will tan through the tattoo,so it looks faded, try a good sunblock like SPF50,or a quality long sleeve UV protective shirt Hogrider, scottyg and michi0709 3 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/8479-tattoo-fading-what-is-happening/#findComment-143647 Share on other sites
SStu
or, perhaps the artist wasn't adept at getting good saturation. Picture? Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/8479-tattoo-fading-what-is-happening/#findComment-143742 Share on other sites
