This is my tattoo on day 9 is this still normal

I’ve been cleaning my tattoo properly the first 3 days using Aquaphor healing Ointment Then the fourth day switched over to Aveeno fragrance free lotion And when I take a shower I gently get water on it On my last tattoo before this one I didn’t use antibacterial soap and it came out really nice use the same steps I was saying

It looks great except the elephant is kinda washed out, just wait until it has healed then get it touched up

As we said on the other thread, you have to let it heal. It is far too soon to be worried.

It looks a little darker in person it’s because I had the flash on

You do see the difference between the two, right? Your inspiration tattoo is much finer and more detailed. That doesn't have anything to do with the flash.

Healing makes tattoos look ugly, even if they don't scab up. That's why you have to wait 6 weeks to see it in it's fully healed state. This one looks normal to me. I don't use antibacterial soap either. Never had a problem.
