VenomX
Is this normal, for a black tattoo ? Had the tattoo done one month ago, scabbed fine, never itched and never picked it. Moisturised and cleaned it regularly. However it still looks a bit shiny and scaly in the light, from some angles you cannot notice it at all, is this part of the healing process ? Gingerninja
Sounds like it...do you have a photo? It takes a while for it to settle in. My knee was done a month ago and it's still shiny which means it isn't healed yet. gtrjunior
Nothing wrong with that imo. Just needs more healing time. ShenanigansFL
Tattoos can take up to 8 weeks to completely heal. I’m going through the same thing and had my tattoo about 2.5 or so weeks ago. It looks fine to me.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/8432-tattoo-shiny-and-scaly/#findComment-143758 Share on other sites
