jay11
Hi all, Im worried ive been out in the sun too long as im a postman and the weather last week was really nice and sunny. I did apply bepanthen but i didnt cover my tattooed sleeve as i was too worried i would scrape against my tattoo so instead left the arm uncovered. Im into my 8th day and im now starting to get paranoid the tattoo is dull. So my question is how long does someone have to be out in the sun to ruin the tattoo? Thank you Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/8325-being-out-in-the-sun/ Share on other sites
Hogrider
Sun is almost certainly going to do more damage than rubbing against your shirt. I don't think there is an answer to your question. I think it depends on a lot of factors. As far as being dull, you won't know what it's going to look like until it's healed in 4 to 6 weeks. There's just no getting around that.
