hi guys. This is an odd one! 

my next tattoo was going to be the classic rose and dagger, or heart and dagger. I have been getting a bit anxious about it of late as it seems that a new knife attack is reported almost daily, here in the UK! Knife attacks are becoming quite a problem here... 

Im sure I’ll be told to just get it anyway, but I’m wondering if anyone else has not got a tattoo for similar reasons?!!

Yeah, I can't see how the 2 could be in anyway associated.  I'm sure that there are whack jobs out there that might try, but we can't let those few ruin things we enjoy.

Hello - I'm in the UK also - given it's a trad design I don't think anyone would make that connection - if it was a stand alone realism piece of a stabby thing then that might give me pause....

Also based in the UK, I honestly wouldn't have ever made the connection. Even a straight up knife with nothing else doesn't seem to get people going, I've seen a few London based tattooists offering them as designs without people decrying it.

I have a 14" dagger-rose tattoo on my spine. The only thing ever said to me was "backstabber"! LOL. Get the tattoo.

Just get it. It's a classic tattoo. No one will make that connection.
