Hi! New here! Mostly here cuz I’m having a panic attack after seeing what’s happening to my tattoo

Ok! Hi. I can’t seem to post a new topic for some reason. I have had lots of tattoos and I’m crying right now. I had this tattoo made last Sunday so a week ago. And I haven’t had any problems with big ass crisps etc. And no blood fluids or anything. Yesterday it was looking fine healing wise and today the dead skin started flaming off (have not pulled anything) how has this happened??? This looks awful

Hi are you sure, it’s day 8 and just woke up and it looks cloudy as f and grey and I have another bird I did a few months ago and that didn’t happen to that one.

Hi. As long as it's not infected, you are going to need to give your tattoo time to heal up!

I don’t think it’s infected it was never red, doesn’t hurt, isn’t warm and the dead skin with the ink is just flakeing off and no fluids or anything during the healing

I don't know what a big ass crisp is, but that tattoo looks normal, as @Gingerninja said, give it time. Tattoos can take a month or more to completely heal. I'm not sure how long it takes a big ass crisp.

peeling after a week is perfectly normal,don't forget our skin varies a lot on different parts of our bodies,so healing will vary as well depending on where it's at on your body.

it's taken me almost 3 weeks to stop peeling on my latest round as my tattooer was really packing it in last time. the skin's just healing. it looks fine, and really it's nothing to worry about.

Ok, so update. It looks way better. I'm just not use to my tattoos looking so cloudy. I had another tattoo artist and when the starting peeling it was barley noticeable even the big ones. still looks a bit cloudy but hopefully that will go away
