Hi there I'm getting ready to get my first tatoo of many and I I have some concerns about the person doing the job at the moment the guy I'm getting the tattoo from doesn't have his own shop so he's doing it out of an RV is there anything I should look out for ?

unless this is a joke,

personally for me, a guy doing tattoos out of an RV would be a red flag.

Especially for a first tattoo,I would do some more research of artists that you would like to get work from.

I would look at established busy shops.

I wouldn't even know where to start. Go find an actual brick and mortar shop with professional tattoo artists that have verifiable experience and a portfolio that you can look at and can't drive off when you get the worst tattoo ever. Do some research, this is such a terrible idea I can't believe it's not a prank.

Here's what you'll wind up with:

This is definitely not a joke but shortly after I  posted this I contacted a shop near the shop he used to work at and found out he does amazing work and just don't have the ability to be in an actual shop yet due to where he lives  I do appreciate all the advice  yall rock if I don't see a sketch of the tatoo I am wanting I won't he going

He has the means to run around tattooing in an RV, but he doesn't have the means to get to a shop? Run Forrest, Run!

Coming soon - is this a blowout, is this infected, can this be fixed?

See video for what happens when someone tattoos you in an RV - or in this case a car.

It's the acceleration, corners and braking that usually cause the issues.

It may be possible on a long stretch of highway - but still not usually recommended.

skip to 35 seconds in for the educational bit.
