I’m posting this here because I can only post in initiation. Just wondering if this idea could work as a tattoo. Since there will be no black background what are other options. Should I have it outlined in black? Thanks.

I think the design needs work itself.

Why don't you talk to a good artist about what you want? This isn't going to look great as-is in any color. Just let them draw something up for you. They know what will work better than you do.

I suggest you look at some artists works and decide which style suits you the most. Then talk with the artist and let him/her do the design him/herself with his own style.
