Tornado7
I have most of my upper arm done with tattoos that have the same theme, but not much to do with each other stylistically. I have the Tomas Garcia dots (color tribalism?) topping off my shoulder, but I still have gaps, and I still want to "finish" it into a "half sleeve" even though it isn't composed as one. There is one more spot that's palm sized on my inner bicep, and a lot of fill in stuff. Should I have one artist do the last spot plus the fill in? How does this usually go? Tornado7
This side is kind of "done" because Tomas's dots cap it all off. The other side feels empty. SStu
There really isn't any "usual" on matters like this. If I were you I'd get that last palm sized one done. See if that artist has any ideas that strike your fancy on filler(s). Otherwise just keep checking with others for their ideas until you hear one you like. Maybe even more dots by Tomas? lemonyej and scottyg 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/8065-how-to-finish-collection-vs-sleeve/#findComment-139209 Share on other sites
bluebullets
This is a styistic opinion, but personally, I wouldn't turn that in a sleeve and I don't see how you would. I like the collection.. I'd just add to the collection. You could get a separate half-sleeve on your forearm though.
