Jkeith
I got three tattoos on my arm this past Friday. I'm scheduled to get another a week later (following Friday). It will be close to/in-between healing tattoos. Is it fine to get another one that close that quickly? They won't touch, but are really close. rdinak
I personally wait 30 days in between sessions. Allow your body to heal and give the artist time to see their work after a few weeks. zetroc
Your own comfort aside, it's not going to be an issue. There is no way an accidental wipe with an inky towel over your fresh tattoo will have any effect. Thanks! I use tegaderm to cover them. They will be coming off the old tattoos that day, so 7 days under a derm. All my other tattoos I've healed with a derm are mostly healed with no scabs by day 6. This next one is only about a 3x4" ish tattoo. Hogrider
Some people have sessions two or more days in a row. No ink from the first one is going to leak onto the new one and no ink from the new one is going to find it's way under skin that's been healing for a week. Gingerninja
You will be okay. Tender maybe but okay. Keep it all nice and clean! Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7963-time-between-tattoos/#findComment-137990 Share on other sites
Colored Guy
You'll be fine. The only time I had a problem was back-to-back large pieces, totally separate but the healing wore me down. This was a neck piece maybe 3" x 3" and one on my upper arm that was big, the 2nd session.
