ideas for existing tattoo

what part of your hand is that ?

Another possibility would be get it covered with the same text, but in a more modern/stylish font. Stuff like what's done by a lot of Cali artists.

ornamental filigree would be adaptable to whatever space you wanted to dedicate to it, but I'd be careful in getting the right artist. The existing text is already a bit blurry so it's going to be tricky to blend it all together.
