Hello from Thailand

Hello everybody, I'm Ryan. Together I own Panumart Tattoo with my wife. She is Thai and I am American.

3 years back I left the US for Thailand. I was a web designer back then. I would never have guessed that in the future I'd own a tattoo shop. But Ahm, who is now my spouse, changed that. Last year she began training to become a professional tattoo artist. This year I suggested she leave her teacher's studio to open her own shop. And she said yes! Together we teamed up to open up Panumart Tattoo, which is named after her. She did the important stuff of course, while I handled the website design and customer service.

My favorite part of the process so far (other than working with Ahm) is the interaction with customers. I love meeting people and hearing their stories. Especially since Chiang Mai attracts tourists from all over the world. It's so nice that tattooing brought us together.
