Tattoo help

What's up folks , I got my tattoo about month ago and I'm trying to figure out what all these little bumps on my tattoo is. Any help would be great. I've been putting ointment on it (bacitracin) and I wanted to see if there is anything I could take that would maybe help.

I'm no dermatologist, but it looks like either you're putting waaay too much lotion on it, and that's causing the breakouts (pores are clogged), or it's an infection.

I really think you're just overdoing it on the lotion, but I don't know.

Second opinion, anyone?

Agree with above. Could also be ingrown hairs caused by initial shaving and way too much lotion clogging pores. Keep it dry for a while

Did you're artist say to put bacitracin on it for a whole month??? I wouldn't be putting anything on it after a month except my normal cocoa butter once every couple of days. A TINY bit of cocoa butter, but for what you have, I'd put nothing on it for a couple of days and you'll probably be fine.

He told me to try it for a little to see if it helps, ok cool he also said to maybe try coconut oil . Do you think that would have the same effect as cocoa butter?  I will try it that way if it helps.

let it dry. don't put anything on it for a couple of weeks.

I would advise what everyone else advises, let it dry out. At least a couple of weeks.

They look like blisters in that photo, which is making me shudder. Never seen anything quite like that.

SAME. I have had an infected tattoo due to a bad reaction to a particular ink. I had to get an antibiotic shot in the ass, my doctor was so worried. THIS? This would have scared the shit outta me. WHAT IS IT?

My guess is Folliculitis - infection of hair follicles.

Take antihistamines and soak in an epsom salt bath. Dry heal until the bumps go away.

it does itch a little.  It looks like it's drying up , I ll post a update pic soon. I haven't put anything on it since y'all suggested.  I ll give it another month and if it doesn't set itself or clear up then I ll go see a doctor.

What kind of antihistamines should I take ? 

Shuld I also be washing daily still with antibacterial soap?

anti-bacterial soap is only for when it's still an open wound.

In over 40 years of getting tattooed I've never put anything on mine. Ever. They've all healed just fine.

What @SStu said. Don't put anything on it. Just leave it.
