Cover up or not?

Hi guys, im new to the forum and just in need of help and advice. I have a tattoo of a rose clock and dove, i am not happy with the clock because i feel like the 12 is to low down (rotated too much) if that makes sense. I would like to know if it is possible to cover the clock, but any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks karl

The clock is the boldest part of that work. If you cover it the middle of the tattoo is going to be 10 times darker than the rose and dove. Personally, I never would have picked up on the number placement.

I think your artist made a smart composition choice: the rose looks good on your shoulder and the dove looks good where it is, but that would mean the time on the clock was being covered by the rose (and I assume you requested a specific time, most people do). It's a good tattoo, don't mess with it.
