Crooked tattoo

Week old tattoo placement looked fine at first (when I was laying down) this is my first tattoo I didn't think through that I should have stood up after the stencile was placed. After getting it I realize that it is crooked. The bottom line especially. What besides thickening can improve this? It is located under my breasts. In the picture I am not pulling my breasts apart.

That part of the body is rarely symmetrical, and it will change as you age, gain and lose weight, and possibly have kids.

Thank you! It just worries me that it has changed so much. My artist did not warn me of this. The line is dropping almost.

Don't worry about it for now. Let it heal and become a part of you. If at a later date you want to make a change, you can. Don't rush into anything.

Thank you very much. It being my first tattoo it just bothers me that this imperfect thing that I chose is on my body. Im sure I'll get used to it over time.

I will wait to do anything to change it. As I've said it just causes constant worry I don't think I'm the tattoo type! One and done I carry too much anxiety worrying if it will change even more!

I'm kind of concerned that an artist wouldn't have you stand up for placement. Every tattoo stencil I've ever had applied, they had me both look down at it and then insist I stand up and look in a full length mirror. Kinda sketchy they wouldn't have you check standing.

Yes that didn't cross my mind until after I had it done and slowly saw it change. I will not go back to the person. And sadly it was a close friend. Won't make that mistake twice.

Well, then the kinda crooked line means even more! Change is good...even when imperfect. I know that this wasn't exactly what you'd hoped for but live with it for at least six months before doing anything. Breathe and love it!

I think the right coverup artist could easily rework that into a nice piece,kind of like this.

Agreed. Although I'm not sure a cover up is necessary here. Due to the simple geometric nature of it, it should be easy enough for the right artist to just incorporate it into a larger design while hiding/fixing the crooked lines. Just my 2¢.
