Jewell
Week old tattoo placement looked fine at first (when I was laying down) this is my first tattoo I didn't think through that I should have stood up after the stencile was placed. After getting it I realize that it is crooked. The bottom line especially. What besides thickening can improve this? It is located under my breasts. In the picture I am not pulling my breasts apart. Tornado7
That part of the body is rarely symmetrical, and it will change as you age, gain and lose weight, and possibly have kids. Don't sweat it! marfil98 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7443-crooked-tattoo/#findComment-132177 Share on other sites
Jewell
Thank you! It just worries me that it has changed so much. My artist did not warn me of this. The line is dropping almost. marfil98 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7443-crooked-tattoo/#findComment-132178 Share on other sites
Gingerninja
Don't worry about it for now. Let it heal and become a part of you. If at a later date you want to make a change, you can. Don't rush into anything. oboogie, sipes23, marfil98 and 1 other 4 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7443-crooked-tattoo/#findComment-132179 Share on other sites
Jewell
Thank you very much. It being my first tattoo it just bothers me that this imperfect thing that I chose is on my body. Im sure I'll get used to it over time. marfil98, Gingerninja and Devious6 3 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7443-crooked-tattoo/#findComment-132183 Share on other sites
Gingerninja
I'm curious to know what your tattoo means to you. ? Also, and I am saying this lightheartedly but with all seriousness, anyone that close to you is going to be looking at your boobs. :) tertia, marfil98, oboogie and 2 others 5 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7443-crooked-tattoo/#findComment-132184 Share on other sites

Jewell
This tattoo symbolizes moving forward with an openness to change. And yes I know lol it happens when they're just out there. Jewell
I will wait to do anything to change it. As I've said it just causes constant worry I don't think I'm the tattoo type! One and done I carry too much anxiety worrying if it will change even more! Synesthesia
I'm kind of concerned that an artist wouldn't have you stand up for placement. Every tattoo stencil I've ever had applied, they had me both look down at it and then insist I stand up and look in a full length mirror. Kinda sketchy they wouldn't have you check standing. Jewell
Yes that didn't cross my mind until after I had it done and slowly saw it change. I will not go back to the person. And sadly it was a close friend. Won't make that mistake twice. I know that this wasn't exactly what you'd hoped for but live with it for at least six months before doing anything. Breathe and love it! marfil98 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7443-crooked-tattoo/#findComment-132227 Share on other sites
Dan
I think the right coverup artist could easily rework that into a nice piece, kind of like this. oboogie, marfil98 and tertia 3 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/7443-crooked-tattoo/#findComment-132231 Share on other sites

Although I'm not sure a cover up is necessary here. Due to the simple geometric nature of it, it should be easy enough for the right artist to just incorporate it into a larger design while hiding/fixing the crooked lines. Just my 2¢.
