New Tattoo Anxiety

Hi! I'm new to the forum and I just got my second tattoo today. It's a design I wanted for a long time and I felt certain that I wanted it except for some pre-appointment nerves. Now that I have it I feel really nervous and doubtful about it. It's a little bigger than I wanted and it's in a more visible place than my first. Is it normal to feel anxious after new tattoos?

I find that it takes a while to adjust to having a new tattoo and size can cause anxiety. I tell everyone bigger is better with a tattoo and you'll be okay with it. What you feel is normal.

Totally. I don't have it after every one, but I do still get it.

I'm currently nervous about my appointment coming up on Monday. I've wanted this tattoo for a few years, and now I'm nervous about it.

all sounds totally normal to me,whether one has 2 or 30 tattoos,I think it's a normal human feeling,I get it still too.
