Tattoo of the Month December 2016 - SKULLS

Another month, another contest :)

RULES:

The tattoo photos posted in this thread will be submitted for polling of Last Sparrow's Best SKULL tattoo. This is all in good spirit and fun of course. The submission process opens on the 1st of the month and ends on the 20th of the month. After that there will be an open poll for one week, which will close on the 27th, and the tattoo with the most votes wins.

Your tattoo picture must be posted in this thread (both tattooers and tattoo customers can win) in order to qualify.

• Include tattoo artist name & tattoo shop with your photo/post.
• You MUST be the one who has the tattoo or did the tattoo.
• It MUST be a finished tattoo
• It MUST fit the theme of the contest

Well here is my favorite skull on me done by CIV at Lotus Tattoo 4 years ago.

I don't see anyone beating that Chad K/Jondix back, but I'll submit one of my skulls for the fun of it. I like the themed contests, at the very least they can serve as a good source of inspiration for people looking to get a certain thing tattooed.

Anyways, here's my skull from Steve Byrne at ROA from a few years ago. Don't really have a healed photo, but found one that kinda works. It's loosely based off of a anti-bolshevik German propaganda poster I saw at the Harry Ransom center in Austin while I was in Austin earlier that day.

I debated whether to hold off submitting until almost 12/20 or start off with a bang.  I obviously decided on the latter, but I'm still excited to see all the entries!

That Chad Koeplinger and Jondix piece is nothing short of pure awesomeness.  Here's my favorite Skull by Stewart Robson while he was at Frith Street Tattoo.

In that case I'll submit my other skull as well, because why not?

This one was done by Mario Desa when he was still at Chicago Tattoo Co., back in 2011-12. The photo is a couple of years old, but the tattoo was a few years healed at that point.

1) 7 headed cobra and skull by Uncle Allan, about 2 years healed in this pic.

2) Tiger and wind-skull by Tim Lehi, healed a few months in this photo.
