as @Dan said, there are no rules.

 

however, if you are getting something small on your ankle its worth considering that it may get in the way of something bigger at a later date!

you can get tattoos wherever you want. you get the tattoo, you wear it, own it !

i've got a butterfly tattoo on the back of my neck, sounds pretty feminine but it definately does not look soft haha.
