I just got turned on to David Parker in (of all places) Pflugerville, Texas. Instagram

His work is so damn good. I have always hated skin rips, but his make me want one.

WHAT. I wasn't expecting much but dang. Texas: home of weirdos forever. Dude makes some nice tattoos!

I love her work, definitely has a defined style. Met her at the Montreal show a few years ago, really fun person. Super talented.

Zack makes some amazing tattoos; super smooth. Works at Anonymous Tattoo in Savannah. Super nice guy too.

He has a lot of stuff on his IG, follow him at zackspurlock

some stuff here too:

Zack's style is so clean and his Japanese work is super solid, too. Dean Denney also works at Anonymous and is amazing as well. Best clipper ships in the industry, imo.

Haha, quite the statement, I know. I just really like what he does with them; very similar to Ron Henry Well's ships (which are some of my favorites too) but with his own spin.

Ron learned to tattoo at Anonymous if I'm not mistaken so that's where the similarity comes from. Completely agreed with Ron's ships being great too.

Whaaaat, I didn't know that. That's so cool - learn something new everyday.

I have just now discovered the crew at Admiraal Tattoo in Amsterdam, via a video posted on the Tattoosnob blog. I must say that I am pretty much blown away by a couple of the artists there - mainly Rob Admiraal himself and Lina Stigsson, who has already been mentioned on this forum a few times.

Although his speciality is oldschool, he pulls off most styles really well. I have honestly never seen a bad tattoo by him.

Here are some examples of his work:

Please forgive my posting his name in this thread, he does get quite a bit of recognition, so he probably should not be in here.

But he is one of my two or three all-time favorite tattoists and my favorite tattooist for portraits.

I cannot express how much I love his tattoos, they are so subtle like pencil drawings on the skin.

I know :D

But for some of my favorite artists I couldn't even say if they are famous or not, because I don't put much attention to that, as long as their work touches me.

Of course with some artists it's very obvious like the people from Miami Ink and LA Ink etc.

I'm going to big up my artist. Up with the best traditional Japanese artists in the UK. A down to earth humble guy and knows literally everything about Japanese tattooing. I think he deserves a bit more recognition.

Chris Marchetto. I don't have any pictures. I just think that his attitude towards tattooing is one of the best that I have seen in the short while that I've been studying tattoos. He's not into being pretentious, or whether or not he knows so and so. He's a human who happens to tattoo.

I don't think that I saw his name within this thread, and that didn't make sense to me. Ryan Cooper Thompson, from right here in Kansas City, does great work. He's a great guy who makes really rad tattoos. I'm fortunate enough to have a Zeis shark on my leg and a Pharaoh's Horses on my kneecap from him. https://www.facebook.com/ryancooperthompson?fref=ts
