Rad Kelham
A few of the tattooers that I've collected from do most of their work on a tablet. I've been trying to learn the programs above but there is no good material online that I can find. I really need an educational tool for a beginner...a book, online course, etc. Anyone have any recommendations? Artflow and Sketchbook customer service didn't have any good advice for me - just a couple bad YouTube tutorials. Even a generalized course in digital art (not program specific) would help. I need to learn how to better use layers and transparency and all the basics. Thanks.
CultExciter
I've never used this sort of thing, but I use photoshop all the time. The only thing I can think would be to build up like you do with oils. Do a base "painting" and go from there.
GumusZee
The best would be the newest IPad that uses an apple pencil + procreate app, but it depends if you would need one. I use samsung galaxy note 10 with xppen deco mini7 drawing pad (include a digital pen, compatible with android devices) . The app is Ibis paint X. I swear by it! namei
If you use android tablet for creating tattoo design, I recommend you get a samsung galaxy tab s6 lite tablet with S pen, it's affordable and good for drawing. for art programs, you can have a try with Ibis paint x, clip studio paint, sketchbook pro or Infinite Painter.
