Honestly though, if you're already having doubts about it being her forte then you're probably right. You found this forum before getting the tattoo so it's not too late to change artists. Having to wait longer sucks, but it's worth it to get better quality. A year really isn't that long when you take into account you'll have this piece for the rest of your life. In that pic the planet has a bit of blood but its now healing and looks good. SStu, Thanks for sharing your opinion. I think you might be right... and I think you also answered a small conflict i am going through in my head... What is it that I am missing in my arm, and I think it was the realistic touch that maybe it was what I expected.... Nothing bad. I like her work but maybe I need to seek for a more realistic look. The planets in my arms are the ones that have me conflicted of "do I like it" or do "I not". Maybe in the next session we can talk about it.... If not than moving on... nonetheless I think she did good, I believe in her and her artistic style thus why I decided to go with her....
