9th works for me. and bart accessible could be Oakland or Berkeley or Sf. Picante isn't too far from North Berkeley bart, maybe one of us could pick Hogg up? i know i wouldn't mind if that means giving everyone a chance to come out.

I'm game for either place. I think it depends on those willing/able to drive to the north bay. I love me some Sol Food but want to make sure we all can get there first. Robin I would gladly accept a ride if the offer is still out there.

I'd prefer East Bay, since I can BART out there after work and then get a ride home from my wife (who will be teaching at Berkeley until about 10 that night). But don't change all the plans on my behalf.

Now that I look at their menu, I see that Papalote doesn't have soup or tamales. El Zocalo (El Zocalo - Bernal Heights - San Francisco, CA) has both, along with pupusas, but I'm not sure how vegetarian-friendly they are.
